this is my Expanded living room (i live just around the corner), and well worth a try! i Love this Place and Miss ist when i'm Not in bern.

I chanced upon this Cafe while doing my laundry next door at the Jetwash (also recommended), glancing at the lunch blackboard menu while having a morning coffee while the washing went round. “They say "the best burgers in Bern" & they mean it!”

It took me years of living in Bern to find this place, and I'm very happy that at long last I have. Cafe Kairo has a funky-retro atmosphere, and when there isn't a concert on I think my parents would be as comfortable there as I am. The servers are a bit busy, but very friendly and happy to answer... More
