I have often been to the Vapiano for lunch and like their pizzas. They also do pasta and salads and the place is not expensive by Basel standards. The restaurant is spacious and has an informal, friendly lounge like atmosphere and can accommodate groups. It does however get very crowded during lunch time.

The food was good, but they used too much dressing on the salads we had. The restaurant was clean with a good athmosphere.
