Sumptuous in every way. The Brasserie has an impressive landscape painting covering one entire wall. It also has antique gilt-framed mirrors. The panoramic windows also offer fabulous views of the Rhine. The restaurant serves a selection of French-Swiss specialities such as Entrecte de boeuf and Zricher Kalbsgeschnetzeltes (a local dish of diced veal). farewell lunch

My wife and I dined here yesterday for lunch to say bye to a friend who is unfortunately leaving Basel. We all enjoyed the meal, the service and the view.

The 3 Kings brasserie overlooks the Rhine and is a wonderful venue to take friends and family for lunch together. Book in advance to be safe, as it's quiet popular. A recommended eaterie in downtown Basel and lovely at any time of year

A favorite Basel restaurant. Early business dinner. Lovely view of the Rhein, relaxed atmosphere and excellent menu (food and wine). Chose fixed price menu. Consistently competent cooking and very professional and unobtrusive but friendly service.

Perfect location overlooking the Rhein and easily accessible. Good choice of food but honestly, for these prices I expect something a little more memorable. Each course was interestingly composed, and tasty (though the sole was a bit bland) but not one dish made me stop and comment on the flavour and for these prices I would expect at least one... More

This is probably the TOP you can have in Basel. Wonderful atmosphere directly on the river, the best service, and the finest food, They do a magnificient Brunch every Sunday morning. Also the bar/lounge is a very nice place where to hang out in the evening. Expect to pay for all you get :-)

If in Basel during a weekend this is a must! Go and have the Sunday champagne brunch at this fantastic place with a view of the Rhine. The food is excellent and the champagne is very decent. You can beat the location and the ambience. Highly recommended!

I was in the Brasserie on 23rd of February for my wedding anniversary, it was during the Fasnacht (carnival), so the atmosphere all around was very nice even if the weather was not very good (it was raining like hell...). we got to apetizers, I got salmon and my wife the poached egg with truffles, both very good, then as... Outstanding location, great atmosphere, coming from Geneva it was enjoyable change of pace. Greeted at the entrance was professional and worth of 5 star. Menu was very well constructed and you have difficulty to choose. Hommar bisque was nice but not exceptional, main course - cordon blue, one of the best i tried. Desert - creme brûlée and chocolates cake... More
