Normally I don't blast a business for this type of thing, but today their ineptitude caused me much trouble. Their website clearly states lunch during weekdays from 12-2:30. When I showed up after enduring rain for a long travel (they are far off the beaten path), for a trial to ensure it was suitable for a birthday dinner, I was... More

Stucki Bruderholz is one of the best restaurant in Basel! The place is beautiful, quite and relaxing. I went there last week, and had an amazing experience! Tanja Grandits just won «Koch des Jahres 2014» (Chef of the year 2014) and totally deserved it because the food was excellent. Being a vegetarian, I did really appreciate the slight twist she... This restaurant is very expensive and is thus optimal for very special occasions. It offers you a culinary experience that one does not have every day. If you have the menu, several different courses are nicely presented. It is most likely, that one has never the same thing before. Also, the restaurant is exclusively designed and offers a nice ambiente.

We had the Aroma Menu which was one of the best, if not the best, tasting menu I have tasted. I had wine to match the different courses and have to say the matching was excellent. The service was first class with the staff being attentive, friendly and efficient. To summarise : Stucki = excellent

We ate here last Saturday night and I have to say, it's the best tasting menu I've had in a long time. Everything was delicious, with the flavour quotient building to a crescendo as each course was presented. Tanja Grandits herself came out to pour the broth of our first course & welcome us to the restaurant - lovely touch.... More

Stucki and Tanja Grandits and her team are worthy of all the accolades they've received. This was our first visit and I would choose to head back to Stucki before trying any other restaurant in Basle. The tasting menu was divine. A very delicate parsley miso soup to start, followed by an exquisite kingfish and lemon cream tartare, a delicate... More

Had the nine course tasting menu, and without startes the first course, a very fine miso soup with parsley was served by the chef. My favourite two courses of "goldmakrele" and langoustines followed. Mountain potato with morels and a main course of beef wrre also outstanding. The fusion of european ingredients and asian flavours worked fine, and the restaurant fully... More

What you get here are little sensations in every course you eat. After you had the first bite, you already regret that you will finish the dish and would definitely want more!!! For those that think it is expensive (it is not!!!), go and have lunch: you get absolutely the same but for less money.

If you are looking for your basic spices like salt and pepper, you turned up at the wrong address. The staff seemed a tiny bit unorganized to begin with, but only to show us their friendliness and expertise later on. Tanja Grandits herself takes you on a diverse journey of taste. Honestly, you might be surprised at first by the... More

My girlfriend took me to Stucki for my 30th birthday and I couldn't have wished for a better and more technically innovative meal. The tasting menu was a culinary journey that both thrilled the taste buds and was well proportioned, meaning that neither of us left feeling unduly heavy. The desserts in particular were an absolute delight. Service was attentive... More
