Lovely panini's and it was worth waiting for. We saw other plates you can take, looking very delicious. But there's almost no space to sit down to have some, so we decided to have a take-away.

This is just one great stop for a nice lunch! Freshly made panini with cheese, ham, tomatoes or whatever you like at a bargain! Very small, almost no place to sit down, but you can take you panini with you and sit on one of the stairs on the main square just 2 minutes away. Without TripAdvisor I bet we... More

All of their food is amazing and very reasonably priced. On Fridays and Saturdays it is a very happening place with a young crowd. There are very few (if any) places to sit, but it is very easy to stand around end eat and very worth it!! The food is incredible!

That's not a restaurant….it's a small sandwich bar, offering great selection of very tasty Panini, filled with cured meats and/or cheeses, plus local wines and beer. The sandwiches are fresh, prepared especially for you…... and in your presence. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Excellent place for a light meal (not seated….) and forces gathering during day of exploring the city.... More

The pernini are cheap, simple and taste absolutely amazing. The shop is basically just a hole in the wall but the owner is very passionate about his food. As others have said, La Bottega di Perugia is definitely not a restaurant.

Pepe, the owner, is from Rome and is a wine connoisseur. He features dinner on Friday and Saturday nights that include traditional Umbrian dishes. He speaks English very well and is a great host. He has wine made with grapes from Umbria as well as all across Italy and Sicily. The prices of the wine are very reasonable and it... More

We were looking for a place to have an aperitif and stumbled across this place. It is tiny, perhaps 4 bar stools in a tiny room with bar. But do not underestimate what it can offer! The wine was good and well priced and the cheese plate was very tasty. In all this place offers a little taste of real... More

I don't see where is the hype. This "restaurant", LOL, serves a variety of Umbrian cured meats. The sandwiches are very dry and way too salty, at least for my taste buds. It seems to be very popular. Honestly I do not understand why.

Finally, finally, finally! For years, I had been waiting to savor an authentic Umbrian panino in the center. Yes, there are millions of restaurants, pizzerias and kebab bars ( which I don't care for) but a place like this was nowhere to be found. It is a delightful, quaint place that serves (heavenly) local cold cuts, cheeses and wines. The... More

Not a restaurant, as it is run in a tiny space. But it's definitely an awesome place for appetizers and light meals. It offers a variety of great umbrian cured meats, cheeses and wines, and typical italian "panini", as well as other local specialties. Very nice service!
