Civico 25 is a characterful restaurant in a medieval quarter of Perugia with an excellent wine list and a buzzy atmosphere. Unfortunately we both found our dishes almost totally lacking in flavour.

Like many of the other review nothing but great things to say about Civico 25. Excellent food, unbelievable wine list and supper cool room. Plan to stay awhile on this one a soak up the atmosphere. I am not a big fan of Perugia but I'd go back just to hit Civico again.

First of all: food was really really good! I really enjoyed the dishes I and my friends took. Honestly what I enjoyed most was the atmosphere, warm, friendly and particular in a positive way. On tables you will have some colored pastels with which you can draw your, or your friends, paper placemat. Prices are just a little bit over... More

We had a splendid dinner here. They accepted our booking upon a short-term notice, and we didn't regret having chosen this place. Food was very good. Cooked right then. Accompanied by wine suggested by the waiter based on our choice of meat. The buzz of the place in the evening makes it totally cozy.

This was a great find. Modern, without trying too hard, buzzy, relaxing and somewhere that immediately feels comfortable. The menu is quite small, which I always think is a good sign, the food was delicious.. If you're a wine buff, this place is heaven - it has an enormous selection at all price ranges. No English menu so we had... More

We ate here in the middle of the week in June 2013. We called ahead for a table at 8pm, but that was clearly early for this place. When we arrived, the staff was still eating, but they were very pleasant. We chose a table on the upstairs alcove and were helped in no time. We started with the daily... More

A little tricky to find, but well worth it. A pretty wine bar come restaurant with a buzzy local clientele. The food is interesting and locally-sourced, the service friendly though, as other reviewers comment, a little slow once it gets busy, which it will! Don't think of eating here before 8pm in the evening, and book ahead. A wonderful selection... More

Winter night - where to go? Let's pop down to the Civico. You can count on a good feeling of everything buzzing when you step in - any time after 7.30pm- to Civico 25, in Via Della Viola, Perugia. Walk down from Piazza Matteoti, down Via Alessi a short way, verge left into Via Cartolari, keep going down the gentle... More

I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. It has a funky atmosphere, the food was brilliant and the wine was to die for. To see so many vintage barolo's...hmmm!! As someone else has stated, the food is seasonal but with a great twist. Finding the place was not so hard in the end, but be prepared to go down... More

I love so much to come in this place. The owner, Filippo, is welcoming everyone and making people feeling confortable like at home. You can sit in a table for a good dinner, or just sitting at the bar for a glass of wine. The list of their wines is incredibly long and you can always discover new products, the... More
