One of best places in Perugia, but since its very popular reservation is a must,,,, The restaurant is located in side street, only about 5 minutes walking distance from central pizza," Piazza IV Novembre". From the street side entrance, it looks like a wine shop….and it is….but in addition, on the second store it contains a unique restaurant. The menu... More

We've eaten here twice, once in the Spring and again today (Sept 24, 2014). Both times, an outstanding experience. Every dish is painstakingly laid out and delicious. Although the menu advertises "be patient," we actually had speedy service. A full four course lunch (antipasto, primo, secondo, dolci) can add up (think Euro 40-ish) if you buy wine from the amazingly... More

Well we decided to try this place as there were a group of locals walking in as we passed. Can't be bad if the natives think it is the place to go. Atmosphere was initially a bit cold from the staff, but when they warmed up it was fantastic. Both the food and service were just great and it was... More

Reservations are a must. Friends recommended this charming osteria and we were not disappointed. The lamb dish was seriously the best I have ever had. My husband had the rabbit and enjoyed that just as much. Service was perfect - attentive without being pushy. The wine selection was huge and the prices reasonable.

So very glad this lovely little place was recommended to us for lunch. Could not have wished for a better, more quirky place to dine. Tables & stools downstairs (didn't go up) appeared as though they were made out of pallets - brilliant! And very comfy too. We called in today at 13.45 and were so lucky to get a... More

Lots of restaurants in Umbria boast that they make local dishes. At Osteria a Priori, they make a fetish of it, sourcing great local ingredients, and presenting them in a rustic yet modern atmosphere. It's informal, not starchy, yet "ottimo." Don't forget to reserve; it's a popular place.

Great little place above the deli, where local, seasonal ingredients result in delicious, rustic dishes. Great value lunch menu, I highly recommend the cold cuts sharing platter as a starter; a huge selection of local meats and cheeses and accompaniments. Good selection of regional wines to accompany the food. Friendly service from the knowledgeable staff.

Nothing could make up for the complete lack of welcome or even acknowledgement that we experienced on arrival. In truth the food was pretty good and well-priced but the visit could never be more than adequate after that. The oversized chairs and tables are excruciating.

Food was outstanding!! This place and La Taverna were truly the 2 best restaurants in Perugia in my opinion. We had to return for about 4 days in a row since they get booked fast. You can also shop for wine and food items there. Very unique place. Had the pasta w/ zucchini and tomatoes and the chicken cooked in ?balsamic... More
