Great place

it is very difficult for me when in Italy to eat twice in the same place, because with few exception the quality of the food is generally high. This is a wonderfully run establishment serving delicious local dishes. The people are lovely and clearly care about every single aspect of their business. A gem!

It's the kind of place you want to keep for yourself but for once I don't. It's all about sincerety, simple and honoust food from Umbrian top products and prepared and served with passion and knowledge. Incredible Umbrian winelist.

A lovely spot (eat upstairs) with fresh local food wonderfully prepared. The pasta was fresh and al dente, with black truffles. Nice spot for lunch. There's a menu of the day, as well as a la carte selections.

Easily one of the top ten pastas I've eaten in Italy: Agnolotti with braised beef and red onions. Mind-blowing. Dining companions' tagliatelle with chianina and peas equally awesome. Panzanella to die for. Excellent recommendation on the Montefalco by the waiter. Fun decor and very reasonably priced.

We had a good dinner on tv rosters a priori- this is a pretty busy place difficult to find places; hence we had to reserve 2 days in advance. Food was great, particularly pastas- excellent tagliatelle, nice lamb,- tasty carpaccio... Service was very friendly - however Tone to serve was rather long- we had to wait quite some 15-20 mins for... More

Even in a country and a province with generally great food, this small unassuming osteria takes first prize. We went for lunch and let the waiter create our menu from the specialties of the day. Everything was outstanding; the pasta, the Tuscan bread salad, the carpaccio, the lamb, the cheesecake and of course, the wine! Even though we arrived at... More

My husband and I found this from Trip Advisor reviews when we were in Perugia last Sept. on vacation. When we find our way to Perugia again, we will definitely head back here. The variety and quality of food, using local ingredients (from the veal to the garbanzo beans) was wonderful. We felt spoiled for choice and it was one... More

My wife and I ate here based on TA reviews and were so happy with the choice we came back twice in our week stay near Perugia. The ambiance both in the upstairs vault and at the street side tables was great, as were our meals. Wait staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke enough English to make ordering very... More

We read glowing reports from T.A. and booked a table. The waitress Elenora talked us through the menu and helped us choose. What a sumptuous meal we had with locally produced ingredients cooked to perfection. The wine list was equally breathtaking and when the final bill arrived the price was not expensive at all
