I'm not quite sure why this is as highly rated as other reviewers seem to think; while it is wood-fired pizza, our pizzas (one prosciutto crudo and one diavolo) were not all that appealing. While the crust was thin, it was basically limpid everywhere, soggy in the center and without the requisite char. Looking at the pizza oven, it seemed... More

Great pizzas, friendly non fuss service, efficient in and out type of restaurant in the heart of historic Perugia. Obviously very popular with the locals. Really enjoyed our meal here.

Pizza, pizza, and just pizza. That is what they do and they do it well. Long lines on weekends. Give your name and hang out. It goes quickly and it's worth it.

It came with a recommendation and we made sure we arrived early near opening time because it is extremely popular. For good reason. The pizzas are incredible and the service is fast. We found ourselves back their the next night for more.

Having spent extended periods in Perugia, I never understood why there were Always so many people waiting outside this pizzeria. So we gave it a try. Ok, it's a pizza, the taste is allright, but there are many similar places where you can eat a good pizza {or better food) in Perugia. I don't understand all the excitement about this... More

I was traveling with a group and we wanted a quick lunch. A native recommended this pizzeria so we gave it a try. It was fairly crowded, which is a good sign. The menu was interesting and there were a couple local beers that were worth trying. Service was good and quick. We were seated in the room which also... More

A small unassuming eatery in the heart of Perugia. They serve pizza. Period. Well except for dessert. Then they serve Tiramisu. I understand that everyone expects something different from their pizza but I believe it starts with an excellent crust from a wood fired oven and a tomato sauce that rings your bell. The cheese and toppings are ancillary. We... More

The title says it all. Just beware that there is usually a queue at the entrance so make sure to be ready to wait for your turn. The staff is very fair though and there is no line skipping for any "VIPs".

I went there straight away as many people had recommended it and... it was just what i thought. Only pizzas, not even dessert or antipasti. I'd repeat for sure!!!!

I didn't have the "Wow" experience others describe. For a quick fast meal, its a good choice. Its served in about 5 min from ordering. Flavors were just OK for me. We had the spicy salami & margherita pizzas.
