After reading some bad rewiews here on Trip Adv, I Wa a bit concerned about this place. But as it was recommended by a friend, we dicided to take the risk. What a wonderful view, food and service! That's all a have to say.

Stayed at the Fontebella and ate at the Frantoio 2 nights and three mornings. Food was excellent. The view is incredible from this hotel. The windows were open to let in the wonderful breeze from the valley each day. Meals served with panache, very good staff, good wine and happy people. We would recommend both the restaurant and the hotel... More

Great food wine & service! 4 course meal with excellent wine & food. Very highly recommended. Atmosphere was very laid back and definitely not hurried. This region is noted for excellent wines and did not disappoint. Group tour feedback was very positive. Must stop on tour!

We stayed down the hill at the Hotel Giotto, and initially tried this restaurant because of convenience. We enjoyed it so well that we ate here three times during our week-long stay. Some other reviews mentioned problems with service, but we found the staff to be nothing other than warm, friendly, and very professional. The food was excellent and reasonably... More

I'm not usually a fan of hotel restaurants but maybe my view has changed. I'm a solo traveller this time around and was made to feel extremely welcome from the first instant Alberto welcomed me. Not only is the food great the wine list is beautiful with local wines of the region. I ate here on my first night and... More

We made reservations with the hotel desk clerk, he stated that we would have a window table for five. When we got there we were shown to a table in the middle of the dining room, and a very snippy woman said take it or leave it...even though there was a six top table unoccupied at the window. We stupidly... More

I offer praise where it's due but good lord; this place is AWFUL! We went for dinner last night and, I swear, were immediately put on "ignore." The physical restaurant is nice enough but we found the staff to be rude (we reserved a window table for 5 but when we arrived were shown to a table in the center... More

We stayed at the hotel where they recommended the restaurant and indicated that the food was exceptional. They served us the worst food that we got during the entire trip to Italy (14 days). Very disappointing.
