We ate here three out of the four nights we stayed in Assisi, and I cannot wait to come back! The group was made up of eight people, and we equally enjoyed our meals. The quality of the food and drinks is excellent, as is the price. However, the best part of the restaurant is the service. The waiting staff,... More

I just finished lunch at the "Il Duomo" I had lasagna my friend had Milanese. I tasted both meals and liked them. A group of ten ordered plate sized pizzas and commented on the quality. Our tourist menu meals cost €22,10.

this is my first trip advisor review, which I have decided to make simply because I need to tell the world about they really cannot miss when they in Assisi. My title says it all, considering that Italian cuisine is in a class all of its own. I highly recommend their home made gnocchi with spinach and cheese. Its simply... More

6 of us went here for dinner on the 2nd May. We had very good pasta and panna cotta with wine water and coffee. Service was friendly. Food was good value - especially as this is in the centre of Assisi.

We were treated to bread, baked pasta, canoli and the most wonderful coffee ever. We ate so much that we hurt! The servers went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we wanted or neeeded. I would absolutely go back!

We had a simple lunch with pizza and bruchetta. Especially the latter was a disappointment. The pizzas were ok. Service was friendly.

The food is great, the atmosphere wonderful. But above all it is the generosity of spirit that pervades the place. It stems from proprietor, Marino and his wife, who seem to 'love' sharing their food, their space, and of course their wine. Our group really loved being there.

We spent 5 nights in Assisi and were surprised at how difficult it was to find a decent place to eat. Granted, we were there before tourist season, but still, locating a good meal was the most difficult part of our time in the city. Thankfully we found Il Duomo Pizzeria Ristorante and kept going back. During our visits we... More

We went there recommended by the owner of the shop close to the Minerva temple, as the restaurant we wanted to go was closed. Worth the "climb", as we had two superb pizzas, cooked in a stone oven looking to the dining room. Very good value for money, two starters, two pizzas, one digestive and one bottle of wine, €42.

Fabulous pizza; the best in our last trip to Italy and for sure one of bests ever. Great variety of tastes and toppings. Don’t hesitate to climb few minutes in a side alley to a very pleasant place for a delicious, relaxing lunch.
