Had a good lunch here, was a nice "hidden" place with good service. The place was nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere. Only not good thing, is that they make you pay for the 5 slices of white old bread (hard, dried out).

We went here based on the reviews on tripadvisor and the fact it is in a reasonable walking distance from our hotel; although this being Siena it meant a stiff walk back up the hill after the meal. The restaurant is split into a couple of seating areas and the ambiance is simple and modern. The service is good and... More

We came to this restaurant after look around the Duomo area to dinner and decided it by Tripadvisor. Gorgeous food: tortellini nero di sepia filled with prawns, and fish with a special sauce made with nuts, prawns and cherry tomatos. The staff were excellent. The price was good for that dinner. THANKS

This was one of our favorite places to eat. We had 2 lunches and 1 dinner here. There was one particular lunch that we enjoyed - one afternoon we were walking around and decided that we would like to do just appetizers and wine so we stopped in to this restaurant and had the most wonderful bowl of steamed clams... We had dinner downstairs in the cellar where we had a starter with raw salmon and main course pasta with lobster. We had a Franciacorta brut for both dishes. Very good food, good service. Not too expensive for this quality.

The food was very well prepared, best chicken liver I've had and pastas were elegant and perfectly cooked. In all we ordered two appetizers, two pastas and a half bottle of wine, oh and of course a bottle of water. My only problem were the EXTRA charges not noted on the menu. We paid 2 euro each as a "service... More

Filled up with locals which was a positive. Went three pastas (wild boar, truffle with ewes milk and lobster). Truffle with ewes milk was a highlight, good flavour, though a bit rich in the end. Wild boar tagliatelle (spelling?) also as good as most which we tried on the trip, though the lobster lacked a bit of salt. For mains... More

We were recommended to this restaurant so tried it in on a quiet Palio trials night. We were the first customers and had a choice of tables and service. We enjoyed the ambiance, the contemporary but local feel and the attention of the servers. All good but maybe we did not order well. Sea bass for me...pasta for my wife.... More

Very pleasant and delicious osteria. You must surly try pate with Tartuffo - it deserves 1 Michelin star. Pasta with lobster was incredibly tasty. Few bottle of beautiful Chianty and you are ready for discovering of Siena.
