Bistecca

We finally decided to try the bistecca fiorentina. This place was a good choice to do it. In addition, the trerose di montepulciano was wonderful.

My husband and I were famished after a great tour of the cathedral. We wanted pizza, so headed to this spot nearby. Even though Trip Advisor says they have pizza, it was not on their menu! However, we enjoyed a nice lunch anyway. The bruschetta was wonderful! My husband had rigatoni and I had ravioli in cheese fondue. The service... More

The restaurant is located near the Duomo, we should have known better, but we made the mistake of eating at this place as we were starving. I am a foodie and travel all over the world, I'm telling reviewers to save yourself the trouble and do not dine at this establishment, a step above Olive Garden! The ravioli gratin pecorino... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint. We shared a pasta bolognese which was quite meaty and generous as opposed to tomato based. I had the Osso Bucco very generous while the partner enjoyed the rabbit in a herb sauce. Good wine selection and excellent service.

Family run restaurant that was full of Italians. Didn't book and got put on the end of a large table with another group at the other end. Lively atmosphere and great food / wine and decent value to boot.

It was late and we ended there by accident, but it was one of the best accidents ever. The restaurant was full of Italians, which was a good sign. Service was very efficient and the food was excellent. We started with some pasta, penne with stracchino cheese and sausage (awesome) and continued with lamb chops, a veal steak with some... More

We had a good but not great, but thoroughly enjoyable meal here. Our primi were delicious and homemade. For a second course we split the Fiorentina beefsteak. While it's normal for it to be quite rare, this version was so blue that it was actually cold in the center, which I found a little unpleasant. But the real highlight of... More

Superb food, friendly service and very reasonably priced. Location is excellent as near the Duomo, three of us had lunch there (no reservation, but they were very kind to accommodate us as place was busy....we ended up sharing a large table with a local family). Highly recommend the pappardelle with rabbit ragu if available. Very nice wine too. Been there... More
