Dined here in October 2014. Food was OK, but service was not just rude, but intentionally so. My first time visiting Roma and now Siena for a few days, this is by far the worst experience I've had. Everyone in Italy has been extremely kind and welcoming to me, until this place. Just uncool, when you are a paying customer... More

This restaurant was in a busy and narrow little street (cars passed very close to the table!) but don't let that put you off - the food is exceptional. The pear and goats cheese bruschetta was unforgettable. This was a perfect place for lunch in a hot and busy wee tour of the beautiful town of Siena.

Lovely fresh food at this little cosy restaurant tucked down a backstreet in beautiful Siena. The food was seasonal and extremely tasty - so much so we're going back again tonight with some friends. The highlights were the fresh mushroom pasta and the pear and goats cheese bruschetta, but the whole experience was good, and the service really friendly.

Don't be put off by the owners less than enthusiastic welcome, the food is fab and he warms up after a while. Wine is lovely and food is incredible.

Not knowing where to eat for lunch after being dropped off from a tour we did a quick search and came across this restaurant as highly rated. Upon arrival we had a fairly high expectation and they were exceeded! We ordered a calabrese salad which was very nice though having tasted buffalo mozzarella I wished they served that. The real... We had some pasta dishes and each of them was an absolute delight, especially the ones with truffles! We will be back...

Our favourite restaurant in Tuscany. Nothing beats the truffle tagliatelle and beff stew. Family run service. It has a lovely buzz. We have been back many times to the restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

We were in Siena for a day trip. The restaurant was highly recommended by Lonely Planet. The food was ok, but the waitress was unfriendly, additionally, she has no clue about the restaurant day special, I asked her what does alla livornese mean, she told me it was fried (!!!!)

The food I had was very good- veal stew in Chianti but it came with nothing else so I simply had meat in sauce for dinner. In this instance I believe the waiter should recommend a side dish if they know that the dish contains nothing else. My partner had pasta with gorgonzola which he says was 'just good'. Dissapointingly... More

From an Italian point of view I can't recommend this place, service was slow, the food good but nothing incredible - the waitress was nice but not really professional - full restaurant with only her serving the whole place. In the end the bill was kind of expensive for what we ate and the owner didn't even ask how was... More
