We went to this restaurant on Tripadvisor recommendations, and were not disappointed. The restaurant is located in a small street behind the Dumo. As there are not many shops/bars on the street it is pretty peaceful and out of sight of most tourists. Wild boar is a speciality and the tagliata of the wild boar was spectacular. The branzino (Sea... More

Osteria Da Divo is definitively a restaurant I would recommend. The place itself is out of the ordinary, inside some Etruscan caves, and with a unique ambiance with many niches, some large for groups and some smaller for intimate couple dining. The menu is varied and very yummy! We visited to celebrate a birthday party, in a group of seven... More

the food is very good indeed, the canteen is full of excellent wine.. but the ambiance and the personnel makes this place special. Get a table by the "niche", on the lower ground: you will feel special!

Have been in Italy for a week now, Florence to Rome, and have been to 3 trip_advised restaurants; cingahle bianco, maccheroni, and enoteca cul de sac. By far antica osteria da divo outclassed the others, and the quality of the cuisine exceeded as well. That said, I would not say that I was blown away. I ordered the grilled sliced... More

Tucked away in the city center of Siena is this cosy historical restaurant, the building dating back from the 6th century. This is high end Italian dining in an relaxed setting and atmosphere. The food is flavorful, well prepared and presented served by very sweet and helpful staff. The fiorentine steak was fantastic as well as the choclate fondant for... More

My husband and I ate here 3 years ago and were lucky enough to return for another wonderful meal. The food was slightly better the first time around, but between our party of three we found really tasty dishes for each course. The last time we were there my favorite thing was the quail appetizer wrapped in bacon, but this... More

Located just around the corner from the Duomo this unique restaurant is a must for a trip to Siena. The interior is very interesting and has multiple levels and you feel like you are in a cave. The food was wonderful. Try the dishes with the black truffles, very good!

This place was the best place we ate in Siena. Great service. Great food. Great wine selection. I would highly recommend. Reservations need to be well in advance.

I went to have a look at this place that has so many reviews and was greeted by an incredible aroma. Subsequently I splurged on a decadent but incredible lunch. The food was delicious and the artichokes I had to start we're exceptional. The menu is also more interesting than so many other restaurants and if you're into truffles, well... More
