We went here with friends based on the rec of another friend, and our Tuscan wine tour guide, and the Trip Advisor reviews. It did not disappoint! The meals were all very good, very interesting, I had the crostini polenta and then the Bronzino with a mashed potato crust. Outstanding! The rest of our party all enjoyed their meals also.... More

Now, in general, Tuscan food can be a bit disappointing to me in the major tourist spots. Not so with this really fantastic restaurant. Apps were delicious, wine list extensive, and the truffle menu was to die for. Good service and a great atmosphere. I would return in a heartbeat.

We stopped here on our way out of Siena. It was still relatively early (12pm) so we didn't need to book, in fact there were only a couple of tables in use. We only stopped for a quick bite to eat and both had a pasta dish. It was okay, but nothing special. The restaurant itself was probably the best... More

we had supper here, made a reservation as advised, although there were tables free when we were there. Smallish portions of Tuscan food, with the amuse bouch. We were placed at a table right in the depths of the restaurant, which was slightly on the cool side, so you need a sweater if you are going to be in the... More

After having reviewed several options via Trip Advisor we chose this restaurant for lunch for 3 adults during our visit to Siena. We took advice from a previous reviewer and booked well in advance, despite which we were placed at a very small table in a corner on the main passageway. This meant my husband was continually having his chair... More

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Siena. Literally the best duck I ever ate. It's one of the more expansive restaurants in Siena, so you should be aware of that. Make a reservation!

good service, interesting location (the original etruscan rock walls still remain), lots of little amuse-bouches in between courses - and finally bread you actually want to eat (not the cold hard tasteless bread that is typical of italy).

Touristy restaurant with a nice setting. We ate several dishes where truffles were a main component and the truffles were only average. I ate much better truffles elsewhere in Italy. Also, the portions are quite small. The quality of the food is fine, except the average truffles. Wine card is extensive. Service is fine. Prices are expensive for the quality... More

Classic tuscan restaurant. Similar to lots of tuscan restaurants that appear here in trip advisor with more than 4,5 stars. Everything is well prepared but the rissoto made inside the pecorino cheese is special. Dont miss it.
