Excellent food and service. The restaurant is built within a cave so it makes for a very romantic setting.

I have eaten here a few times and the place, atmosphere, ambiance and presentation are always of high standard BUT this time the food was just not up to expectations particularly at the price being paid. My starter of fennel salad with salmon was bland and uninspiring and my fellow guests had a mixed bag from big disappointment over the... More

and never disappointed. It's family owned and operated - food is excellent - make sure you try the risotto! Non like it in the world.

This place has a perfect blend of cool setting (Etruscan cave), and really tasty/flavorful creative dishes. There are several dining options including the front room which is brick and stone walls and a wood beam ceiling...very old and very cool. You can also dine in the cave which is a half-floor down. Please dress nicely, we saw some people in... More

We were recommended to this Restaurant a few years ago and loved it. Stupidly we forgot the name and tried to find it again a couple of years ago, to no avail. On this visit, we had a rather miserable rainy day to look forward to and decided we would have another go and this time we struck lucky! It... More

We stayed in Siena 3 nights and this was the only time we had a nice meal! We had to wait an hour for a table so I would recommend making a reservation but I thought it was worth the wait. I had the rolled zucchini and mozzarella for starter which was delicious and unusual, the lamb was nice but... More

I am so glad we stumbled across this restaurant in Siena. We were able to get a table without a reservation, but I think we were extremely lucky. The food was amazing and the grotto was a beautiful setting. A must try while in Siena!

Gorgeous setting in the Etruscan tombs. Beautifully created dishes that will not disappoint! The wild boar ragu was a highlight of the menu. Definitely a "must do" whilst in Siena.

Last night I took my current group of women travelers (Italy Women 2014) to Antica Osteria da Divo for one of our two group dinners during our time in Siena. We had just come from Florence, where we spent five days, with excellent lunches and dinners along the way. We were tired, had been on our feet all day, and... More

This restaurant is in a cave . It gives it a very unique feel. The risotto came in a huge cheese thing it was amazing. I would highly recommend it. You must make a reservation.
