This restaurant is located in a quiet backwater behind the Duomo. However it is well worth seeking out. The ambience is wonderful. We were located at ground floor in a high brick room but the restaurant extended to the cellars were tables were located in alcoves. The service was excellent and attentive. Food was Tuscan in style with a slight... More

We ate here a few days ago for lunch as we were trying to escape from rain. It has a great medieval atmosphere. The staff was good but a little stiff. My wife had asparagus risotto came in a big pecorino cheese rind they hollowed out. Just great! My ravioli was very good. Would go back

An excellent restaurant recommended by our hotel that should be on your list for Siena. The restarant starts at ground level but has multiple levels going into the older basements with interesting architecture. Food and service were both spectacular.

Visited Siena for Easter and was lucky to grab a table at Antica Osteria da Divo without a reservation - would recommend to call ahead. The restaurant has a lot of character and displays many trinkets and art work throughout. Had the cured meat platter starter and white truffle risotto. The staff prepared/grated a generous portion of truffle at the... More

We ate here on April 12th 2015. At first, when you enter, you're pleasantly surprised by the medieval appearance of the place, with stone walls and wooden ceiling. There is also a siting area in an old stone cellar. So atmosphere is 9/10 . Food was also good, especially my gnocchi with truffle. We wouldn't recommend the Antipasto Toscano (Tuscany... More

I worried about us getting service in the very bottom of a cool, charming stone cellar (very well lit), but the service was terrific. Nice menu with lots of good food to choose from. Had pasta, fish and wine and enjoyed all tremendously. I with I were there now!

da Divo starts with an incredible setting...ambiance of a place 100's of years old, but accentuated with modern touches. The food, the service, the wine list were all fantastic. We absolutely love it and look foward to returning.

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch and it was the best meal I have ever had. I am a foodie and I love traveling so I can say that I have had a lot of great meals but this meal takes the cake. I have spent hundreds of dollars on a single meal before that did not even... More
