Definitely one of the best restaurants in Siena. Literally the best duck I ever ate. It's one of the more expansive restaurants in Siena, so you should be aware of that. Make a reservation!

good service, interesting location (the original etruscan rock walls still remain), lots of little amuse-bouches in between courses - and finally bread you actually want to eat (not the cold hard tasteless bread that is typical of italy).

Touristy restaurant with a nice setting. We ate several dishes where truffles were a main component and the truffles were only average. I ate much better truffles elsewhere in Italy. Also, the portions are quite small. The quality of the food is fine, except the average truffles. Wine card is extensive. Service is fine. Prices are expensive for the quality... More

Classic tuscan restaurant. Similar to lots of tuscan restaurants that appear here in trip advisor with more than 4,5 stars. Everything is well prepared but the rissoto made inside the pecorino cheese is special. Dont miss it.

The hotel recommended this and made our reservations for us. It was a long walk but so worth the trip. We were seated in the bottom level of the restaurant with amazing atmosphere. The food was wonderful and the staff so attentive. Strongly recommended if you are in Siena.

It was truffle season when we went so most of what we ordered included truffles. The gnocci was amazing. The polenta was delicious. The atmosphere is perfect and romantic, the service is outstanding. I really cannot say enough positive things about this gem in Sienna. We would have gone back again and again if we were staying longer.

Opened a little late for us..7pm. But our meal was wonderful. The ravioli were so good and the wild boar pasta was also so good. Located in a old vault the ambiance is incredible.

We visited this restaurant on the basis of a recommendation from the fine barman at our hotel and they organised a reservation for us that evening. Since it was our first full evening out and we were not familiar with the location it took a bit of finding. Once there they found us a table on the first level down... More

We booked a table for dinner for 4 including our girls (9 and 11) and were offered a table in the 'cute' cave. Possibly because we had kids - mind, you cannot find better behaved girls! Staff was very attentive at check in. However, the musky smell was absolutely unbearable. We didn't see a waitress for about 10 minutes and... More
