Great pizza ! Always crowded with locals, so it's better to reserve a table. The wine is great and the food is great ! Best pizza I enjoyed was the pizza de la casa.

We found this little place by our hotel in south Siena. We were going to another restaurant, but it was closed. The food here was amazing. The pizzas were the best we have had on our trip to Italy so far. The prices are very reasonable and the wine was excellent. Will go there again on our next rip.

We stumbled onto this place because we got lost and were staving. Pizza was terrible and the pasta was oily. Descriptions on menu not correct - caccio and pepe pasta horrible.... should not be in an alfredo sauce!!

The best pizza I have had in Italy so far. Great selection, including Siena's ciaccini. Reasonable prices. I had a pizza with spicy salame and sausage. Others tried a seafood and mushroom pizza they loved.

I am somewhat picky about pizza, so when I bit into the crunchy crust of my buffalo mozzarella pizza and tasted the tomato sauce it felt like perfection. No other pie in Italy came close to the fresh flavor and perfect blend of spices. I sat there in what is a modest pizzeria by a busy street eating my favorite... More

This is definitely not a tourist place - lots of locals! It is outside the city but was very convenient to the Hotel La Colonna where we were staying. The pizza was very good and it is a nice spot for a low-stress dinner. Prices were very reasonable. They open at 7:30 for dinner and it got very crowded shortly... More

Let down by another restaurant we happened upon this unprepossessing establishment on the edge of Siena. Being a Saturday evening they were quite full but a table was found for us outside but under a canopy and behind a rustic wind break. Service was a little slow but the quality of the pizzas and pasta was superb. Home made desserts... More

This place has potential. Worth a shot if you're into fine-dining with even finer wine-pairing. The food is pretty decent though not Michelin Star standard yet. The wines are all fantastic since this restaurant is located in Hotel Le Fontanelle itself which is basically surrounded by 60 hectares of vineyards. The service from the headwaiter was very good and we... More
