I wanted to have the pici with wild boar sauce that is a Tuscan specialty. I was pleased to find it here. It was delicious! My 19 yr old daughter had the spinach tortellini with meat sauce. She said it was the best meat sauce she's ever had and she has always been a picky eater. The grilled vegetables were... More

For dinner this is just an average trattoria with nice service. But the lunch self service is amazing: Huge portions (smaller portions are even cheaper) of delicious Tuscan food with a few different first, second and side dishes to choose from. Friday is seafood day with usually a long queue. No wonder, it's incredibly good value for money! Unfortunately only... More

Visited here with family and friends for lunch. The wild boar ragu locally termed 'cinghiale' is amazing. Soft and tender cooked in a fragrant sauce. I won't forget the name of the dish.

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel (Hotel Italia, which we liked a lot), as being very authentic. We had a nice meal, but as we have noticed in other parts of Italy, cooks seem to be very heavy-handed with salt. I tried the local pasta (pici) with wild boar, and it was tasty. My husband had... As many have said already we were recommended this eatery by our hotel and on entering it looked impressive, nicely decorated and had a pleasant feel. Unfortunately when the food arrived it was really poor. The first issue was the food was barely warm. It had either been sat somewhere for too long or not "warmed up" properly! My wife... More

we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant by chance and ended up having dinner there twice. The staff were pleasant and eager to please ,bread was freshly cut and wine (Rosso) was cheap & excellent. Spoiled for choice from their varied menu. The Pizza was perfect and large enough for two people. Pasta & meat were excellent and don't leave without trying... More

We were nine friends and we had a wonderful dinner. Large portions, tasty and reasonable prices. The staff very helpful and patient! Specially because with nine people is quite difficult to decide what to have!

After our train ride through the Tuscan countryside, from Rome to Siena, we finally arrived. After a quick check into our hotel, it was time for some local food. Right away before leaving our hotel, the front desk girl said we had to try Fonte Giusta to really appreciate Siena. We made the walk, which being Siena, and our first... More

We stayed we in Tuscany for 6 weeks and this restaurant was the best by far. The meat was delicious as was the pasta and pizza. We tried almost every dish in the menu between us and they were all amazing. The owner and staff were friendly towards us and even when the place was full with people, we never... More
