Stopped in for a late dinner our first night in Siena. Scallops.....Excellent! Good service excellent food. Clean and priced reasonable. Tucked away from the main square. Worth finding.

We were staying in the area of this restaurant and had walked by several times before going in for a try. We just wanted a simple dinner and the restaurant looked casual and welcoming. The décor is nothing fancy and the food is good. The rabbit that I ordered for dinner, however, was surprisingly good. At first I thought it... More

During a four night stay in siena eating out each night , my friends and I visited this restraunt and all agreed we had found a hidden jem. The food was very good , my meal was the best I had tasted in siena and the prices were extremely reasonable . In fact the cheapest we had paid for six... More

We had a lovely meal at I Barberi. My husband had the Osso Buco Senese which he enjoyed very much. My daughter had the gnocchi with Gorgonzola which were excellent and my son and I had the carpaccio with melted Gorgonzola. The carpaccio was very tasty but my son and I both agree that the meat was a little chewy... More

We are from the U.S. and came for a day visit. We were looking for a quick lunch and glass of wine and received much more!! The service was superior to a multitude of our other dining experiences. Incredibly friendly service, excellent recommendations and wonderful food made for a fabulous experience. Our waiter, Herald, recommend a great wine and meal... More

Amazing food (the ravioli al tartufo is a must), great list of wines from the enoteca just opposite. If anything, the street can be busy with cars if you eat Al fresco

I'd visit every church in Italy to give thanks for the existence of this restaurant. We were having our honeymoon in Europe and between lyon, florence and Siena, this is the best dinner we've had to date. The scallops is fantastic (and creative), stewed beef literally melts in my mouth while grilled prawns are simply orgasmic! Considering the rest of... More

After way too much food for lunch, we decided to have a nice, light dinner. This was a good place to stop for that very thing. We sahred an antipasto and tuna carpaccio. Both dishes were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. They had a vast wine selection, but we stuck with the house red. It was... More

Stopped off here on a day out in Sienna as it was convenient for the cathedral. The meal was reasonably priced. I had the wild boar stew and my wife had rabbit stew which came in at 12 euros each. Half a litre of the house white wine was 6 euros. The food was very tasty. However, this is the... More
