The best food i have ever eaten!!

Where to start?.. It does'nt look like much on the outside, but on the onside, its like a hobbits place.😁. Beutiful, rich with traditional italien taste. The food is amazing. The beafstake is about 500 gr. The BEST i have ever eaten, by far. The deserts are a problem.. You don't know what to... read more

I can not understand how this place got any positive reviews. First and foremost, the food is bad. The Guido antipasta starter has canned artichokes and a selection of fatty tasteless salami. The gnocchi plate was served in a sauce that resembled cheese wiz. It was truly awful. The restaurant is far from Siena city and definitely not worth the... More

Mr. X or Mrs. X, I can not understand why you came here for??? Since you got into our restaurant your attitude was rude and aggressive, not even a smile or a greet. You were asked by our waitress what you liked to eat and you just ordered and did not ask her for any explanations about the dishes. Anyway,... More

Easy to reach, preferred by locals, excellent traditional Tuscan food, the house wine was good, prices were reasonable, the waitress was very friendly, and we got limoncello on the house (a whole bottle actually :))

I was there during my visit in Italy on November 2014. Some local friends invited me for dinner and the experience and quality of food great. When we stepped in Guido welcomed us telling to Spiro that his friends will go back to the USA very Happy......he was right. Will be too long to describe the salami and the wild... More

A modest looking tavern opposite the church of Taverne d'Arbia, the Locanda di Guido, is a last outpost of Sienese refinement on the road to Arezzo or Asciano and the Crete Senesi steppes. The quality of everything is superb: the Chianina beef and the Cinta Senese pork (from the outstanding local butcher), the House Red (from Montepulciano), the coffee, the... More

We went there for a quick romantic dinner. The atmosphere is cosy but - at the same time - typical and perfect for a romantic night. The service is supreme: very nice people, they brought an extra appetizer just for us to try it. Also, they offered two typical liquor at the end of the dinner. The price? Super cheap... More

The place is very nice inside and the service fast. Local .... great to taste the traditional cuisine of Siena. Excellent value for money. Impeccable service and a wide selection of wines. Do not miss it!!

Do not be put off by first impressions as you enter what appears to be a dingy delicatessen and take-out pizza joint ! We nearly left but then a waitress, who has some English, led us through the building to a courtyard in back where tables are set under large parasols. In the evening, lemongrass candles keep mosquitos away :-)... More
