Nothing special

I was not impressed by this restaurant. The food is good, but that's about it. Dishes are simple, and maybe it's a little bit pricey for something that simple. I had pasta with seafood and it was good. If you seat outside, it's directly on the street (a not very crowded one).

My girlfriend and I now are studying in Siena and for our anniversary we have fuond this very nice restaurant to celebrate. The food was good and waiter, too. With the turist menù I ate a lot and I spent only 12€ (first dish, second dish with potatoes). recommend It!

Pizza, calzone and spinacci. The spinacci was superb. The waiters were nice but incredibly ineffective. We sat by the kitchen and watched the action . The pizza oven was cranking out pizzas but not in the order of the orders therefore a table that ordered 5 pizzas waited 45 minutes for the first and 90 minutes for the others. We... More

We ended up here as we had failed to make reservations where we originally wanted to go and this was the next restaurant we found. The restaurant is brightly lit, very clean and the staff reasonably friendly and as discussed in other reviews it was full of Italian families. We stuck to basic foods and a bottle of wine and... The positives are that the food was very good and reasonably priced at £10/head for lunch. The negatives are terrible service eg waited 30 mins to place an order to be told by the owner that they do not serve pizza at lunch time, waited another 15 mins before he returned to serve us, would not bring parmesan cheese as... Diffident service - wine just plonked on to the table - no pretence about trying it or anything. Gnocchi with walnut sauce - chewy, doughy balls ... aren't they meant to be light and fluffy? Extra 5 euros added to bill for a non-existent drink which was removed when pointed out. People were coming in for pizzas - maybe that's... More

Reasonably priced with a good menu of the day. Recommend the riboletta (soup), wild boar and pork (aristo ?)

We looked on at 2:00 in the afternoon and saw a great fire going on the pizza oven so we decided to go in. We day down looked at the falling apart menu and choose a pizza to have for lunch. .. The lady looked at us and laughed and said only for dinner then stated at us looking really... More

Food was delicious - we've tried pasta with truffles, caprese and tiramisu. I can recommend this place for those who want to have a good dinner in an ordinary comfortable place. As a minus I could mention that the staff speaks English very little and the service costs 5,5 euro.

This restaurant is a shame for italian food reputation.Unfortunately we were starving and we ended here because it is located close to our hotel.Service wasn´t bad, but the food quality is awful, a trap for uninformed tourists.
