Zest is best!!

Had lunch here and were enchanted with lovely owner Shirley. Divided into 2 levels, we sat on the top level to dine. We chose the 20 euro deal (a primo and a secondo) which turned out t be a great deal. Quality, preparation and balance of the dishes lived up to expectations.

We spent two months in Siena attending an Italian language school and this experience gave us the opportunity to visit many of the best restaurants in this beautiful city. Without question, Zest is at the top of our list of favorites (and this is the only review I will write of a restaurant in Siena). Whatever superlative you can think... More

It was September when we visited Zest and has taken a while to get around to writing a review but feel that it deserves full marks. Perched on a steep street with a view of the duomo to die for, especially as the sun was going down, we were treated to awesome food, starting with an antipasto for the two of... More

We were a group of 10 on an excursion for the day and were recommended Zest by a friend who had previously visited. It didn't disappointed, lunch was truly delicious and you could really tell they care about the dishes they produced which varied from traditional to modern italian. A favourite was the savoury tart made with caramalised onions and... More

We were not especially looking for this restaurant that night when we found it accidentally at the corner of a straight down street. And we were so pleased with our experience that we returned for supper the two following evenings !!! Not only the atmosphere is relaxing (the place looks very zen), but the restaurant is chic, beautiful and the... More

All four of us enjoyed great meals at Zest. We sat outside on the street. The tables and chairs are cut to accommodate the steepness of the street. Foot traffic only which is nice.Friendly staff. No complaints.

We totally enjoyed the food and the atmophere. The staff was friendly and the service exellent. Glutenfree pasta was great. There were also other glutenfree options.

Great meal and good value in Siena. Off on a backstreet in historic district. Food was fresh and tasty. Great pasta! Very good service.

After a few months past i visited Siena again and there i found a new star which i can add to my Restaurant heaven: The Zest is a small but fine restaurant, which is looking very nice and classy. You have either the possibility to sit outside if the weather plays nice or to sit inside and enjoying the zest... More

We stumbled upon Zest, which was near our hotel, after having been in Italy a week and desperately needing some green vegetables to balance out all the pasta and pizza. We looked at menu after menu until we came to Zest where we found multiple salads and some veggie-heavy pastas. Sure enough - the arugula salad and the greek salad... More
