Excellent menu, featuring Tuscan cuisine with a slight California touch. We had delicious pea pesto over pasta, in a colorfully-plated serving. Bench seating outdoors with view of the Duomo off in the distance. Locals consider this not really authentic Sienese or Tuscan cuisine, but the food is nonetheless well prepared.

Ate at Zest both nights I was in Siena. Came back the second night because not only was the food delicious, my server Nancy was so friendly and accomodating. Try the delicious leek tart with cheese (gorgonzola, I think) and carmelized onions with a side of pesto, so good that I almost wished I had ordered 2 instead of moving... More

Great place off the beaten track, with good selection of wines per glass, not per bottle. Part of the staff comes from UK, a real relief to hear pure London accent in the middle of Italy.

On our Italy trip, we really wanted to stay away from 'touristy' restaurants. There was one night where we didn't have anywhere to go - so based on their menu and trip advisor photos, we decided to give it a go. It was hands down one of our best meals we had in our whole 2 week trip. We even... More

This is one of the best restaurants we found during our two week stay in Siena and we went there four times. The location is away from the main tourist spots on a steep side street; there is seating outside and unlike some other places they have not built a deck to deal with the incline, the tables are fixed... Quite by chance we found Zest and had the most amazing meal. The waitress was unbelievably freindly and when we returned which we did twice the other waitress was equally fun and friendly. A hiddeen gem in Siena

Great food with great view My sister had chicken fillets and she really enjoyed it. The potatoes are the greatest potatoes we had so far. I had pici which is good too. The waitress was nice.

Beautiful food fresh and well presented. Great service. Lots of choice. Waitress was the part owner who likes to oversee and be hands on with service.

Zest has a wonderful location with tables perched on a sloped cobblestone street. The menu is fresh Tuscan food with a variety of light and healthy choices. My vegetarian daughter had many options to check from. The restaurant was busy, but we were not in a hurry on our vacation. The staff was pleasant but at times seemed slightly challenged... More

Travelling through Italy with my husband and two teenage daughters we found this lovely restaurant in Siena. Actually it was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. Our waitress nancy was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was delicious and as non meat eaters we had plenty to choose from. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
