So quaint!

Sitting outdoors perched upon the top of a steep little side street, it was an unprecedented dining experience. Made a 7:00pm reservation because of all the positive reviews. Arrived at 7 and both doors were locked. Waited until 7:25 and left because there was no one there. Either they closed their doors or not open until later than 7 pm. If so they shouldn't have taken a 7pm reservations. Was so looking forward to their food.

I was very concerned to read your review saying that we were closed at 7pm. This was impossible as we were open through out the day non stop until late evening. I checked with the staff and the computer log for that evening, the 2 floor staff were there and 3 kitchen staff as well as a table in the... More

Small place in a sidealley.. but well worth it. Not cheap - but you will get the quality that you pay for. Good experience and nice staff.

Off on a steep side street, quiet, good menu & nice wine list! One can avoid busses of Duomo area here. Friendly staff & reasonable prices

We had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The food was beautifully prepared, fresh and unique. Our tables were outside with a great view of the duomo from the back, but if you cannot get one of these great tables, the food is definitely more delightful.

I am surprised that we returned for two meals in 3 days but the dishes were so well presented and taste was fantastic. The attention to my food allergies and celiac disease made me feel safe as well as eating marvelous food!

Seldom do we return to a restaurant when there are so many choices, but Zest was so incredible that we ate there three times in two days and would have a fourth meal had there been time. Like many, we stumbled upon it while walking around and were taken with the outdoor tables stacked on the steps in hilly Siena.... More

I love the tables stacked down the side of a steep hill--it's an enticing place to eat. The menu drew us in and was not a let down. I had a tart with leeks, carmelized onions and mushrooms. It was delicious and savory. My husband had Linguine al Mare and enjoyed every morsel. Service was really nice, subdued but helpful... More

We had lunch here twice during our holiday and I have to say this is truly a hidden gem in Siena. The food was fantastic...fresh, very tasteful, and prepared with attention to detail! As a dolce I can highly recommend "Torta Della Nonna"...truly delicious! The quality of the food is matched by the service...very friendly and warm, but professional at... More
