Nannini is mentioned in all the guidebooks to Siena and because of this it rests rather heavily on its reputation and non-repeat business from visitors. I found it crowded and chaotic with a complicated ordering system and unfriendly service. As with most cities there are more welcoming places with better service, prices and products on the backstreets away from the... More

To try the traditional Sienese cookies ,the Ricciarelli. I love both the traditional and the chocolate ones. The place however has also so many other choices of pastries that you may want to try other things as well :)

First of all, don't confuse this bakery and bar with the Nannini's restaurant that is on the Piaza del Campo (which is overpriced and I had the worst cup of coffee on my whole trip there). This shop is behind the Campo and sells delicious and well priced cakes, pastries sandwiches and has a bar that serves wonderful cocktails as... More

Overpriced due to view but the food was not great either .. We had a salad which was hardly seasoned and a panini that was worst that was not pressed, hard crust bread and hardly any thing within it. Wifi dint work either although they advertise it. Try for other alternatives at the piazza if you just want to sit... More

At the recommendation of the things to do on Trip Advisor, we stopped by Nannini to try their known pastries. They were delicious! However, the person who helped us was very rude. I hope the rest of their staff isn't like that. We chose not to buy anymore to bring home and went to a different pastry shop.

Very nice spot near the Campo for your morning cafe/cappuccino. Consistently good pastry and very good cappuccino during our time there. We usually went with the cioccolato brioche--messy with the powdered sugar/cocoa powder on the outside, but good. Their fresh-squeezed orange juice was also quite good, albeit a small serving size. There seems to be some confusion in the reviews--this... More

While in Siena I frequent this place a few times. It was my go to place for a good cafe and a little something to curb my munchies while in the centro. It really does have good coffee and the selection of pastries is amazing. The serve a selection different coffee, so be sure to specify what it is you... More

I do not know why this place was so highly recommended for their ricciarelli and panforte? well i do not know because I patiently waited in line for so long, super stoked to try their famous pastries and never got served. The staff member did not even acknowledge us and when a couple just waltzed in behind us she greeted... More

This is a dream bakery. So many items to choose from and they all looked delicious. We were in love with their cookies! There is also a coffee bar there, it's open late, and it definitely should not be missed when in Siena!
