This place has a very good selection of pastries and nice coffee. Too bad they obviously do not encourage you to enjoy it on location. More tables!

We nearly made the mistake of going to the Restaurant of the same name on the Piazza Il Campo, which gets poor reviews. We visited the "real" one for a cake and a coffee. My wife chose very well again and had a "diplomatico" which she thought was the best cake she had had for a long time whereas mine... More

There are many Nannini places in and around Siena...the landmark site is close to the Piazza as you walk along the main shopping street.....it's not expensive, and is almost obligatory to pop in to for an espresso.

Found this great value coffee shop in a guidebook and it is certainly well worth a visit. Plenty of pastries and cakes to choose from as well as coffee brewed to order. Big bonus was very low cost and had to check bill was correct!! Only a few seats but don't let this put you off.

Worth a stop for the experience...pastries were good but very busy. Very touristy but would possibly try again during an earlier time.

Not much to say but: "great coffee". We first thought that the line was long, but because of the fast service we had our coffee in a "jippie"

Something for people with depression: you will be more depressed to see that there are not so many seats to stay there. But once you had their own roasted coffee you will start to smile. The therapy continues if you walk around the bar and see what kind of pastries, sweets, cakes etc. they provide. It's a color and smell... More

Nannini is mentioned in all the guidebooks to Siena and because of this it rests rather heavily on its reputation and non-repeat business from visitors. I found it crowded and chaotic with a complicated ordering system and unfriendly service. As with most cities there are more welcoming places with better service, prices and products on the backstreets away from the... More

To try the traditional Sienese cookies ,the Ricciarelli. I love both the traditional and the chocolate ones. The place however has also so many other choices of pastries that you may want to try other things as well :)

First of all, don't confuse this bakery and bar with the Nannini's restaurant that is on the Piaza del Campo (which is overpriced and I had the worst cup of coffee on my whole trip there). This shop is behind the Campo and sells delicious and well priced cakes, pastries sandwiches and has a bar that serves wonderful cocktails as... More
