We came across this superb restaurant after spending a pleasant but somewhat cold afternoon in the spectacular Piazza del Campo. This was beyond any doubt one of the top gastronomic experiences we have ever had in our lifes. When leaving the place I felt like saying Wow! Simone is a perfect host commanding a friendly and yet not invading service.... More

This has been one of our most extraordinary gastronomic experiences ever. This restaurant has a proposal of revisiting hearty Tuscan food with a touch of freshness and boldness yielding an outstanding and delicious outcome. I strogly recommend fiori di zucchini and il spaghetti con uovo, acciughe e pistacchi. The service was warm and helpful while very wary of the customers... More

We were treated to no less than three complimentary Chef's tastings between courses at PorriOne, all as excellent as every dish we tasted. The waitstaff was well trained, attentive and very friendly, it made the great food coming out of the kitchen even more enjoyable. Do not walk by this upscale choice in Siena, go in and enjoy.

The most fantastic meal of our 2 week trip - higher prices but worth every penny! The desserts were like art on a plate and just fantastic! Would have happily eaten the sausage and olive pasta every meal for the whole 2 weeks! Would go back again tomorrow!

We stumbled upon this gem on a Sunday evening after discovering that quite a few of the recommended typical restaurants were shut or full. It was a great find,a lovely atmosphere sitting outside with a view of the piazza del campo down rhe street and good service. The food was delicious and very different from all the rustic meals we'd... More

We ate here as the Osteria Le Logge nearby was full and very busy, no doubt a good sign, but we did not regret the decision as the food was more imaginative than the traditional Tuscan fare. I thought the wine list was excellent and appreciated our selections. My wife had a glazed duck breast which was particularly good; I... More

Very good food, pleasant atmosphere, good location near Campo. The waitress recommendations were good (albeit she was a bit impatient at times). However, pricier than it should (and I dine in Michelin restaurant and don't mind paying a lot for food). Also, the internal dining area is warm while smoking is allowed outside (so not convenient for a pregnant woman).

Perfect food and perfect hospitality. Great value for money. Tip. Share a starter so you still have room for a pasta or a main course. Great but too broad win list. Great offers by the glass. Great experience

We ate at this restaurant last night upon recommendation from our hotel (hotel Athena - also lovely). It is nice and close to everything and the food and service was fantastic. I had ricotta stuffed courgette flower to start and my fiancee had grilled octopus - both very lovely but the octopus was truly fantastic. Then duck risotto and prawn... More

This restaurant was recommended by friends who have lived in Italy for 30 years. Best pasta I had in Italy (pistachio, truffle pasta was to DIE for) Would go back in a heartbeat. Not the cheapest, but not that expensive either. Go.
