First, its a bit tricky to find. Second, make a reservation. Otherwise food was very tasty; traditional Tuscan with a flair. Chocolate cake to die for. Service started out brisk and and friendly then went a little downhill. (Perhaps because we did not order 3-4 courses each?) Atmosphere is... read more

Had lunch here the other day. There was a large party and it was hard to hear ourselves because they were loud, but we decided to make the best of it. Had each an antipasto which was good and ok for the price, then a primo - I took pici and they were wonderful. He got lasagnette, the portion was... More

A wonderful fine dining experience in the heart of Siena. One of the "top four" dinners that we had on our entire two week trip across the country. Expertly prepared and delivered. Nice atmosphere. We aren't wine experts, but the waitress was very helpful in helping us to pick out something nice but affordable. We had three courses, wine and... More

Romantic dinner for two, 5 minute walk from Il Campo. 1 appetizer, 2 pastas, 2 prosecco, 1 bottle of wine, pecorino cheese and 2 glasses of Brunello was $110 CAD Pasta, wine, cheese, atmosphere and price were all great. Tagliatelle with truffles was excellent. This was a specialty pasta and more than the regular menu pasta due to the season.... More

My wife and friends toured for two weeks through Venice, Florence, Urbino, Gubbio, Siena, and Rome. We all agreed this cuisine reigned supreme. Say 'yes' to the duck ragu or the wild boar, it's one hit after another. We were early, but there wasn't a table to spare by the time our meal was served. Having heard it was my... More

We'd seen this restaurant recommended in a Time Out book about the area, but almost missed it as the signage is very subtle. We were well looked after by the courteous waiting staff who were knowledgeable & engaging about the local dishes on the menu. I tried the ribollita, which was delicious though more like a thick stew than the... More

We stumbled on this place as it was close to our hotel. We were looking for somewhere to have our first dinner in Tuscany. After a transatlantic flight we had hoped for an early dinner and then bed but ended up having an amazing meal. Beware, this restaurant doesn't open until 7:30 and I suggest a reservation on a Monday... More

I had dinner here with friends. We all enjoyed our meals - the food was lovely. Wine selection was pretty good too. Service was a little hit and miss. Our first waitress was a little unfriendly but then another waitress took over our table and she was lively, bubbly and friendly. It was really busy for dinner the night we... More

This place was recommended by a local in Siena. I would say it is tuscan fusion food; local tuscan foods prepped with a flare of french and intercontinental flare. Portion sizes are great, restaurant was very busy but yet service was good. We had the lamb loin which was very tender:) and the tagliatelle with duck ragu and pistachios; fantastic... More
