Had an early dinner here after our hotel concierge made us a rez. We were surprised to see our neighbors from New York when we walked in, but I guess the place was written up in the NY Times recently. Excellent food - risotto prepared with wild rice where you could taste each ingredient, plus tasty faraone. Friendly and helpful... More

We enjoyed an excellent lunch at this small, local establishment. Just a few meters off of the main tourist route (in what is essentially a tourist city), I Terzi is a quiet respite from the hoards and clearly has a lot of locals as patrons. The staff was a bit cool at first and I sense that they do not... More

Situated behind and somewhat below the cathedral, this is a somewhat formal meeting place for locals to sample wines and eat local specialties such as pici (thick spaghetti). Huge wine list and highly informed staff will help you choose, in English if necessary A reservation makes sense in tourist season, especially for dinner. While you are served quickly, this is... I really give this a 3.5. Fairly nice décor, adequate service and average food. The wine list is amazing. The ambiance in the enoteca is fairly warm with the typical Siena brick that looks old yet modern. While it is an enoteca, all of the people were eating and not just having drinks. My wife had steak, my son the pici... More

Let me say this up front - check your tourist attitude before deciding this is the evening, and the venue, for you. If you've got white sneakers on save yourself some embarrassment and go somewhere else. If you get a reservation you have your table for the evening and you should savor every moment. One of the best restaurants we've... More

My wife and I had a memorable dinner and Enoteca i Terzi while we were staying in Siena. The enoteca is located very close to Piazza del Campo and has the charm of the old buildings of the area. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and throughout the evening the service was attentive but not intrusive. The menu included... More

I have hesitated about writing a review of the Enoteca I Terzi because, frankly, I would rather not have our local invaded by tourists. However, it is important to highlight this place. My husband and I are Americans and live in Siena. The Enoteca is our local place and we have been eating and drinking there happily for over a... More

Had originally planned dinner here but had to postpone the visit to the next day as they are closed on Sundays. Lunch was absolutely amazing though. They definately know their stuff in this place. Taste was brilliant and delicious and the presentation simple but appealing. The place itself oozes of class when compared to many of the other eateries in... More
