Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere

A stunning building just off Piazza del Campo. The food is very good and the staff very friendly. For us was a "special occasion" dinner so we did not mind about the bill, but be aware that it can be a bit pricy , especially for the wine.

When you are in a very touristy area such as Siena it is hard to find a restaurant where the menu is not the same as the one next door. Osteria Le Logge is a cut above. This was not 'formula food'! This is a restaurant that loves food and treats it with respect. Hence, they deliver you a plate... More

We went for lunch on May 7th. First and pasta courses were alright. Bistecca Fiorentina presented as Chianina was not a Chianina as claimed and was the worst steak we had so far in Italy. (For a real succulent and extremely tasty Chianina try "La Saletta" in Certaldo). The real disappointment came when the bill was presented. No detailed receipt... More

Turning up a simple egg into a wow dish is not an easy task. I was almost sorry I ordered the poached egg with cauliflower as a starter but when the waiter served my dish, I knew I had made the right choice (see photo). The taste was beyond words and with the cauliflower mousse, it was like eating a... More

Le Logge was on our list to visit earlier in the week we had arrived at the front door just as a group of about 30 car enthusiasts had gone in so we thought maybe another time. Fortunately we did try again. Wonderful food a really interesting menu, lovely wines as well with a lot of choices of by the... More

This is the first review i've ever felt the need to write! The restaurant itself was not too bad, nothing special but an ok atmosphere. The menu was small which is generally a good sign in my opinion. However, the food was pretentious rubbish. The two of us shared a smoked duck starter which was a mean portion of duck wrapped... This little gem just hidden off the main square was outstanding from beginning to end. Starting with a delicious gnocchi with lobster, an amazing Osso Bucco so tender, and desserts to melt over. The service was attentive but not overbearing with thee matre de being extremely helpful. Would recommend this restaurant very very highly. Do not miss out make sure.... More

Short but concise menu, outside the norm of what is usually found on menus in Tuscany. Would advise not to forego good food to the bare benefit of creative (not everyone will appreciate coffee or chocolate used in savory dishes), but definitely fun and well balanced. Home made bread delicious and ambience and attentive service make up for 5 balls.

A trip to Siena is not complete without a visit to Le Logge, especially if you are into great food and wine. We returned (after many visits over the years) this past week for another fantastic lunch. It sits right off the Piazza del Campo and it is decorated with an array of vintage photos, memorabilia, and wine bottles. The... More

Very good food, original and great service. After our lunch, the manager invited us to visit the cellar. Impressive and very well kept. It was evident that it has recurrent clientele, because most visitors greeted the manager by name. Great experience.
