A group of 20 (from Dublin) went for dinner on the 8th of September, we were cycling from Rome to Nice and stopped off on route. Mirco and his team looked after us superbly. By arrangement Mirco selected our meal and chose one of the best 5 course meals we have ever had! Homemade pastas, wild boar, organic everything, in... More

When Siena appeared on my Facebook page, two friends independently wrote that they hoped we'd have an opportunity to dine here. So glad we did! My experience of Italian 'haute cuisine' generally is that it is just tarted up Italian food; but not here. From my delicate salmon poached in Earl Grey to my wife's chocolate tower with curry ice... Le Logge came recommended by friends who live and work in Siena and it was one of the high lights our recent holiday in Tuscany. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect with waiters bustling round a crowded room and mainly Italian customers.

Been here years ago - was disappointed this time. I hope it's because we chose badly. Starter: zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta very greasy but served with roasted aubergine coulee which gave it some originality. Kids had various pasta dishes - pesto and ragu sauces brig the best. Main courses very small and at €20 very over priced eg maceral... More

We had lunch at Le Logge, having been with friends a couple of years ago for an excellent meal. This time the experience was nothing like as good for a number of reasons. When we arrived the table outside ( we booked ahead which is usually advisable) was on a busy corner with a lot of noise from passing people... More

We have visited this popular and charming old-school bistro just off the Campo numerous times over the years and made reservations for this return visit expecting to encounter as good an experience as previous ones. We were welcomed by the maître d', who knows us, and our party of 5 shown to a table outside but too near a busy... More

We went there after watching the rehearsals for the Palio, our meals were very good, service nice but not very fast (restaurant was full ...) and wine was very good. One very nice experience we would redo.

Right next to the Piazza Del Campo, the square where the Palio horse race is run, one would think being in such a tourist location the food would be mediocre and the service blase. At least in our case not so. We were here in August and the week of the Palio. The town was a zoo. One of the... More

A lovely restaurant located just behind Piazza de Campo on traffic free side street with tables both inside and out. Food is traditional Italian style well prepared and presented to a high standard with excellent service. This is my favourite restaurant in Tuscany and always make sure I visit here when holidaying in Tuscany. Definitely one to recommend.
