We choosed that restaurant because we were parked nearby and the comments on Tripadvisor were good. The service was not that warm (compared to Italian standards) but the food is good and the prices quite contained. As mentioned by several comments here, the customers are mainly locals. The room is quite tiny: maybe 7 tables inside including a big table... More

We had an amazing meal here. True, authentic Italian cooking. My daughter had the bruschetta starter and I had the capers salad. Both were delicious. The owner recommended and excellent bottle of wine from the region. My daughter had pici with meat sauce and I had ravioli with mushroom and truffle ragu sauce. Both meals were delicious. I saw people... More

We just had appetizers but other dishes looked good. Had prosciutto with melon and husband had pizza. Service just okay. Not a favorite but, good average fare.

The food and prices were excellent - much better than in the center of the city where all the tourist go. The staff were very friendly and special orders were no problem.

The manager of the hotel we stayed at recommended this little, casual restaurant as one of her favorites. We had one of the most tasty meals I have ever eaten. We asked the excellent waitress to recommend the dishes for us, and she did not disappoint. (OK, steak tartare is an acquired taste, but it was worth trying here.) The... More

If you want to eat good but not sofisticated Italian meal, IT is a perfect place. Especially very good bruschetta....And good white wine per 8 euro/litre;)

fiorentina tartar was perfect, it was so delicious. the restaurant was the best part of our siena trip. Pici all’ aglione, Trippa alla senese and the homemade wine was also great. and the best part was the price.

I am really sorry, that I have to write such a bad review. But we had the by far worst food in Tuscany at the Osteria La Piana. After we have waited outside for a while, the staff pulled an additional chair to the vacant table. No greeting, no word, no friendly smile - just the feeling, that we are... More

Choose this restaurant totally by chance. We were walking by and decided it looked good. Boy were we right! We were there on Easter Monday and they were crazy busy. However, the young lady that took care of us was friendly and we were never rushed. Both my husband and I had fresh pasta dishes and they were both very... More

I loved the atmosphere and staff, friendly and warm. I had the Osso Bucco and it was salty. I was a bit disappointed but the other dishes looked great and it's a very popular place. I will go back.
