We stayed in Siena for a few nights and upon arrival, we had already begun to search for a good place to eat. We passed by this little gem several times but never actually went in until the night before our departure. It was such a good find and we regretted not coming here sooner. We ordered a mushroom stuffed... More

Small family run restaurant, delicious meats, cheese plates and pastas in a cave-like romantic setting. Lovely hosts and very reasonable prices.

Papardelle were fine, for the Secondo I ordered a steak with potato, the steak came without and the waiter just said "I thougt, that would be to much". The Ristorante has a good atmosphere, a bit like in old cellar.

The whole experience was exceptional. The food, the wine, the ambience and the owner, all made this a great place!

This place is everything you'd hope for in an Italian restaurant. It's family-run, small and intimate, and the food is fresh and tasty. It's in a great location, right next to the Campo so it was easy to get to. We were welcomed in and the server/waiter/owner was great about telling us about the specials and giving us recommendations. He... More

You will have many english speaking guests there as the entire wait staff speaks enough to give you great service. A smaller restaurant hidden right off Piazza il Campo, the best item on the menu to me was the Florentine Steak which is a huge steak which my wife and I shared. Fresh vegetables and Sienese desserts, this place was... More

We came in a little early - staff was still eating, but ushered us to a table to sit and rest. Restaurant is conveniently steps from piazza Campo - atmosphere is great, with brick walls. Our host was very welcoming, with good english. Menu and wine list was handwritten. We started sharing cabbage rolls in mushroom broth; continued with pici... More

Delicious food "Just like my itialian mother would have prepared" By far the best gnocchi I have ever eaten in a restaurant, tender and delicate. We were on vacation our party of eight had reservations to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary when we arrived, the restaurant had a bouquet of beautiful flowers for me, arranged to have a bottle of... I stayed in Italy for one week and this was by far the best restaurant i went. Had to travel from Florence, but it was worth it. Friendly owner, skilled staff, fantastic food and 30 seconds from the center ''Piazza del Campo''. I strongly recommend it to anyone, who is ''addicted'' to tasty, traditional food! ;)
