I've been in Italy for 3 months and Trattoria Chiribiri was the most authentic trattoria I've eaten in. One room, small tables, two waiters, and fresh, steaming hot Italian dishes. The house wine was delicious, the tables were full, and the service was fantastic. If you're in San Gimignano, you have to go here.

My crespelle was some of the best I've had (including my own) and after living 30+ years in Florence, that's saying something! The house white wine a lovely Vernaccia di San Gimignano was delicious as was every home made dish we had. Everything was quite reasonably priced AND we had lots of fun with our waiter Maurizio. Thumbs up all... More

I loved San Gimignano, and this Tratoria is greater as the city. The food is really good, the price is affordable and the wine house is great. I suggest to all travelers. But you should make a reservation, the plase is small.

It was the second week of December, most other places had shut down for the season. Our hosts at the B&B recommended this place, so we popped on our jackets and walked into town. Very easy to find, through the main gate, and turn left up the stairs, and you're there. The small and comfortable dining room was well laid... More

We love Chiribiri! It's a very small place, so reservations are wise. They are open most of the day, so you can just drop in early and reserve for the evening. The menu isn't extensive, but is varied, and everything we have had was really delicious. The white beans with sage were delish. Prices are very reasonable. Tables are fairly... More

I have no problem with the food in this restaurant, it was actually quite good and inexpensive. But if you really want to make sure that your tourism is contributing to the greater well being of the Italian Economy, make sure you get a receipt that says "fiscale". I was only given a "non Fiscale" receipt after the owner demanded... More

The town was a bit touristy but this is near the main entrance to the town, tucked in a side street. About eight tables and a pretend moody owner who turned out to be a star. OOOH, THE FOOD WAS GOOD. What a gem of a secret eatery....mmmmmmmmmmm.

We stumbled upon this cozy tiny trattoria years ago on our first trip to San Gimignano and have eaten there every time we have the good fortune to visit this charming hill town. On our most recent visit, the food was just as good as ever (the BEST gnocchi!!) with the owners still right there taking care of business. It... More

We have visited this quaint little Trattoria ab out 5 or 6 times on each of our visits to San Gimi. The food and house wines are great and prices are very reasonable as well. Portion size is normal and the menu is not extensive but there is something for everyone here. The atmosphere is great and the owner and... More

This is a charming little spot right off the main entrance to the town. This location made it especially convenient on the rainy night we first visited this cozy restaurant at the recommendation of the folks at the nearby villa Il Borghetto. You walk down a small flight of stairs to a small but charming setting that is everyone's picture... More
