We fortunately arrived early after recommendation from our Italian friends, and got a table, but the restaurant soon filled. We started by having two sharing platters, between the four of us, followed by pasta, and then finished with desert. It was all of a high quality, as was the house red wine. The service was very friendly, yet efficient. As... More

We had been staying with Italian friends and decided to stay in San Gimignano on our return journey to the airport at Pisa. Our friends recommended this trattoria and we looked in through the doors to a very small bright little restaurant. You will need to be friendly with the other diners should you stay! Tables are centimetres apart, other... More

We think this restaurant has the best ragu of anywhere we have eaten in Italy. That's all I can say. The pesto sauce was also terrific.

we got a recommendation about this restaurant from a family in Milan we got here in the evening though our hotel room was on the other side of San Giminiano one of the waiters spoke basic English (reapeting his intro about the specialities of the day over and over again for the tables that came after us). table cloth and... We were recommended this restaurant but warned the tables are cm apart. Service was good and quick and the food delicious. We had the lasagne and tagliatelle with saffron - both excellent. We also had the wild boar stew which was very tasty. The house wine was cheap and fairly rough,

We found it after a long day visiting several cities in Tuscany. It was full, and so we had to wait around 15-20 minutes. We were seated between two couples, but it was no problem since the restaurant was pretty small, and was full of people. The service was pretty fast, we tried to decide quickly, but they still came... More

More expensive than the average at san Gimignano, but i doesn't offer a lot for this price. I got a pappardelle al pesto, the portion was very small, the should double it for the price! It tasted good but not amazingly good. I was all by mysel and the waiter shout at e for seating in a tablle for 3... More

We found this fantastic little trattoria at the end of our holiday last year and so this year we managed to pack lunch and supper into our 4 night stay. After many of the tourist restaurants this felt like authentic Tuscan food. It was hot in July and people left because the restaurant was too but once sat down it... More

Totally overrated. The food is nothing otherworldly. I went because several guides and pages recommended it. But disappointing. The food is like any Italian restaurant, and the place is very small. If you like to -eat tight, with no view or window - food you can find in any Italian restaurant, then it is the best option. The treatment of the... More

Dishes are average and ordinary. But the worst thing about this restaurant was the waitress (probably owner), who seemed pissed off with everything and was very rude. A couple seating next to us received a dish with a hair on it. Another decided to go away before even ordering. Please avoid eating there. I can't understand how these people, who... More
