We found this fantastic little trattoria at the end of our holiday last year and so this year we managed to pack lunch and supper into our 4 night stay. After many of the tourist restaurants this felt like authentic Tuscan food. It was hot in July and people left because the restaurant was too but once sat down it... More

Totally overrated. The food is nothing otherworldly. I went because several guides and pages recommended it. But disappointing. The food is like any Italian restaurant, and the place is very small. If you like to -eat tight, with no view or window - food you can find in any Italian restaurant, then it is the best option. The treatment of the... More

Dishes are average and ordinary. But the worst thing about this restaurant was the waitress (probably owner), who seemed pissed off with everything and was very rude. A couple seating next to us received a dish with a hair on it. Another decided to go away before even ordering. Please avoid eating there. I can't understand how these people, who... More

You need to take a walk into a small alley to discover it, but when you're there, you'll find one of the better restaurants of San Gimignano! It is very small, but cozy and you might need to wait some time until a table becomes available, but it is definitely worth the wait. The food was authentic prepared Italian (we... More

We went here because it was in Rick Steve's guidebook and we were glad that we did. Tucked along a small corridor, this was a pleasant cozy surprise! The pesto pasta and the gnocchi were really great! No tourist trap here, just some good quality Italian food!

My sister found it online when doing some research on San Gimignano so we decided to pay a visit. The food was amazing and the sweets were even better! Felt like really good home made Italian food. The wild boar ragu stew tasted like heaven! The staff was amazing and made us feel like family. Will definetely recommend it to... More

We wandered the walled city during the day finding our hotel and trying to decide on a restaurant to have dinner at. Our hotel recommended this quaint little restaurant. There are not many tables in Trattoria Chiribiri, so it may seem cramped. The waitstaff made up for the tight quarters and waited on us hand and foot. We don't typically... More

We had late lunch, at that time we were the only guests. Really small place but the waiter created great atmosphere. Food was excellent. White house wine as well. Prices are reasonable. If you are in San Gimignano - do not miss it!

Valentine weekend found us off roads in the Tuscan region and a lovely stay in San Gimignano. Upon recommendation from our B & B we had a reservation at this small and family run restaurant. It's small so I do recommend a reservation as seating is limited . The food was amaZing! I recommend the wild boar( I know that... More
