This deli/wine bar is always cool and quiet. A lovely place to relax and cool off. The owner, Lorenzo, makes his own wine (which is very good) and olive oil and is very friendly and also knowledgeable about local wine. You can taste various wines with a wine card and eat a plate of delicious Tuscan ham and salami. Downstairs,... More

Great place to recover and taste some wine. Nice airconditioned and free wifi. Of course great wine too. We tried the Tuscan chopping board which tasted really great. See pics.

Excellent place for wine tasting and Hors d'Oeuvres. Buy their wine tasting card and taste at your please from the many wines available. Each tasting costs about 1 to 3 euros until the card runs out of money. Good place to relax after all the walking around San Gimi.

This place is awesome, from the underground wine cellar feel, to the wonderful wine and the yummy goodies on the menu. A wonderful place to get away from the touristy feel of the main street, this is on a side street and worth seeking out. We did enjoy the house wines in most of the restaurants but loved coming here... More

We wanted to try nice cheese, wine and ham, hesitated in front of all the tourists shops and ended up in front of this nice shop!! Let the owner guide you with his fabulous products and delicious wine, you won't be disappointed!

You will look at the entrance and see a menu with several tasty small eating things. And that includes the Tagliare Toscane that we had (which is not bad at all and huge sized). The TRAP here is that you can only TASTE the wine that there is for sale. You CANT actually enjoy a bottle or even a regular... More

Having looked at the reviews for this place we thought we would give this a go. The place only had one other table of two who left soon after we arrived but other than the young waiter who took our food order, no one else made us feel welcome. The wine tasting is through a wine card and machine system,... More

Our customers from the Via Walking September tour felt Lorenzo's wine and food tasting was one of the highlights of their visit to San Gimignano. We will certainly include it on each of tours on 2012 Lorenzo has the genuine warmth and knowledge to advise yet not dominate with his very generous wine and Tuscan food tasting The atmosphere either... A wonderful place to stop in for wine tasting and lunch. The food was delicious. Lorenzo welcomed us with open arms, sharing with us his own wine and giving us a tour of the cellar.
