High quality food and wine, friendly service. This is a great spot: you don't feel like a tourist but like an out of town guest.

One of few places open in January in San Gimignano, we stopped by to try some Brunello wine and a platter of cold cuts and cheese. Everything tasted great and was obviously of very good quality! The owner was very friendly and we loved everything. Recommended!

We just popped in for coffee and a sandwich for breakfast and had an unexpected treat. Salvatore prepared the best ever vegetarian panini with artichokes, sweet roasted peppers, aubergines, courgette and melted cheese. Utterly delicious. Wish we could be back soon.

We decided to see if the the "World's Best Bruschetta" sign in the window was true. And it was! Two of us split the the Bruschetta with Pecorino cheese melted over top, and two glasses of wine. Splitting it was the right call, as there was plenty for us both. We were fortunate enough to get one of the tables... More

The food is so simple. We ate tomato salad, bruschette and a hot sandwich and watched how they were prepared using fresh ingredients. The quality of the food makes all the difference. This is a small place with just a few tables and not too many dishes to choose from, but it is an amazing place to hang out, relax,... More

We had the bruschetta for lunch which was a generous serve and quite tasty. The service was average and the owner seemed a bit grumpy. Overall satisfactory but could be better.

Stumbled upon this Enoteca 8 years ago was impressed then and even more now with owner remembering visit. The plate of cold cuts of salami prossciutto cheese blah blah are the best. His wine selections and drinks are great and service is excellent. Sitting street side watching the tourists pass is a great wind down. A definite must stop on... More

Walked past this enoteca a few times and noticed the amazingly beautiful tomato bruschetta. Finally stopped and we had a breakfast sandwich of tomatoes, cheese and basil on thick slices of toasted bread. The tomatoes are juicy and ripe, just as if you picked them from a plant.

We stopped at Enoteca Gustavo Mescita Vini by mistake as we were viewing some art in the art shop two doors up, Anyway I'm glad we stopped as the had delicious ham paninis all washed down we a glass or two of vino. In the shop we also purchased some panforte bianco as souvenirs. Altogether a lovely place.which I would... More

Into the super touristic but also very beautiful San Gimignano this is something different, sit on this place, especially outside and order great bruschetta, cheese & cured meats. It's cheap (20-25€ for 2) and you can drink a typical Vernaccia. Staff doesn't speak english but they are honestly friendly. Nice spot for rest & light meal all day
