Had both the tasting menus here. Everything was delicious and impeccably presented. They accommodated both our children very well and introduced us to a spectacular wine, Antajr 2008, so exquisite, we visited the producer.

I read mixed reviews on the restaurant before we went, but food was very good. We visited on a Monday evening, and it was DEAD quiet. Whilst I appreciate it is slightly off the beaten track, it was a Monday in June, and on the panoramic vista route, so I would have expected it to be a lot busier. There... More

Food just awful. Thought we had found somewhere good to eat. Don't be fooled by the Michelin recommendation.

The menu is varied and features regional specialties. Service is fine. The wine list features a selection of local wines. Not a place for young children. Reservations recommended.

It was very unfortunate as when we saw the restaurant we thought we had a great little find. The restaurant it self is very nice with rooms off little nooks and crannies with a nice atmosphere and nice photographs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Two of us had the tasting menu I can the classical and my friend the... More

We arrived in San Gimignano during some of the worst storms Tuscany had experienced in years & were desperate to find a warm, welcoming, non touristy place to eat. At first, we thought we might be up against it, but with a few side street excursions we happened upon this lovely, cozy little place. Although it was quite late (around... More

This restaurant was very good and is on a side street but worth the search! I had the pici pasta with ragout of white guinea fowl with vin santo and shavings of truffle and pecorino cheese, a great combination! I'll go back my next time in Florence!

It says slow food on some sign leading to the restaurant. It really is, they are preparing it when you order it, not a day before. You have to wait for risoto for about 25 minutes but, when you get it, it is the most delicious in your life. We had a fiorentina steak, and the meat was great! And... More
