Good meal

Very good meal, antipasta carpaccio and local cheeses. Pasta ravioli with artichoke and Tartufo / truffle very tasty, and then lamb with artichokes, all very good, dessert was tasteless unfortunately but all round good experience.

You have to look outside the "tourist track" to find this excellent restaurant. We had an excellent lunch with a 3 course meal including wine, esperesso and grappa for 32 €uro per person. And that was absolutely value for money! You can let the waiters recomend wine for your food, you won`t regret it :-)

Great tuscan food accompanied by a nice terrace and pleasant staff. The only minus is a small WC, that does not match the size of the restaurant and leads to queues.

We were in San Gimignano with three other couples for two weeks. My husband and I had a late Sunday lunch once, four of us went another time and eight of us on the third occasion. Twice we sat outside on the lovely patio and once indoors. The good, especially the truffle dishes, were excellent. Service was always attentive and... More

Dined here with a small tour group. From the moment we entered, felt welcome. Timing of meals perfectly executed. Every plate perfect, finished with a fantastic ice cream dessert & the best limencello tasted so far. The wild boar dish was a standout - the juniper berries a great touch.

If you can live without the scenery of the grand squares of the town, do as the locals do and dine here. The interior is nicer than the photos on their internet site would suggest, and the food is very good - although you could probably skip the dessert (you'll probably be full by that stage anyway...).

My husband and I came here upon the recommendation of our wine tour guide, who herself lives in San Gimignano and owns a vineyard with her family. She said this was the best plan in San Gimignano to go that wasn't as touristy. We were able to walk-in on a Friday without a reservation and be seated outside right away.... More

Took table on terrace but dirty and noisy from traffic and full of smokers so moved inside. Long wait for service for lunch. When it came it was ok but standard tuscan fare really. Average experience but to be fair to them they had what looked like a large coach party to serve as well.

We sat outside, next to the wall, and it was very nice, however it lies just next to a street. The food was average and the staff was very service minded and made sure to give us the best service.

During our holiday in San Gimignano (we try to come here one week every year) we always try to have dinner here. Not a romantic or cozy place, but still worth the visit because of the friendly staff and good food. The ravioli con tartufo is delicious, pici al'anatra very nice and the tagliata di manzo absolutely great! A nice... More
