Lovely ambiance

Nicely tucked away from the main areas means it's lovely and quiet. The food was lovely. The starter with cheese ice cream was extremely yummy!

One of our regular spots to eat when we are in San Gimignano. The food and service is fantastic and Alissiatreats us as like family - even walking us to their restaurants to introduce us.

Our dinner at Peruca was the best dining experience we had on our whole trip in Italy. If you are at San Gimignano eating here is a must. The value for your food is great as well. Highly Recommended!

We were recommended this little restaurant by a couple staying in the town and saw the string recommendations on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! It is tucked away and we needed to ask en route the right directions but do not be put off as it's actually only 50 yards off one of the main streets. It is situated... More

Average to low quality food at steep prices. The most disappointing place during my ten days. Cheese selection came as 2 dried up types. Oh and to ensure you're not too comfortable in the toilets they took off the seat top.

We had an authentic Tuscan meal at Peruca - a real gem off the Main Street. The food was freshly prepared, well cooked and tasted great! A feature of the meal was the excellent, friendly service, with staff very helpful and patient. The setting is very atmospheric too.

Our group was going here for dinner and it happened to be my sister's birthday so I arranged a birthday cake as a surprise. Imagine my surprise upon arriving at the restaurant when I went to pay for the cake to learn they had made a huge cake to be used as dessert for our whole group and included it... More

Although the place was full and they had a lot of service to do they were really friendly with each and every guest and took their time to answer all the questions with a smile. From the first moment they were sorry that it would take some minutes, but immediatelly served some water for all tables that were waiting. The... More
