Be sure to order the fig and arugula salad, it is exceptional. Great service and phenomenal menu. Pricy but worth it.

Back in San Gimignano after a year's absence, we went to lunch here on a last-minute whim. We hadn't reserved ahead, and doubted that they would be able to seat us. Our timing was good in that we were the first people in line when they opened. We were warmly welcomed and seated on their umbrella-shaded terrazzo. Everything we ordered... More

Had read good reviews on this restaurant so we decided to give it a go...I made sure I went the previous night to book. We had a table reserved outside and it was a lovely area...a wall garden. The waiters were all lovely, and there for your every need...my sister dropped her knife on the floor and the waitress was... More

We went there on 4th August 2014 for my mothers 50th birthday. We had read it was the number one restaurant in San Gimignano and the reviews were not wrong. Amazing food and even better service. They gifted my mother a bottle of wine for her birthday, gave her a dessert, gave us all a glass of bubbly to celebrate... More

We found out about this restaurant on the internet and we came up to taste a slice of Toscan cuisine. The truffle dishes we had were prepared perfectly!!!

What can I say that has previously not been said??? Not a lot but only to confirm how excellent this restaurant is. We initially had trouble finding the restaurant as we were looking for it on a Tuesday and it's closed. We made another trip in to San G and made a reservation for dinner the next night. We were... First lesson is don't try to book by email. They don't like emails. Telephone. Fortunately our hotel was able to obtain a table for us in their courtyard. I won't add to the many good reports about the presentation and quality of their food. It was the first time I'd tried truffles and brunello and it was a memorable experience.... More

We ordered the Panzini Riserva 2010 Vernaccia San Gimignano which is a great, tastfull wine. As starter we enjoyed the Wild boar ham with truffle and the Quail with foie gras and truffle. Both delicious. As main we had the tortellini pasta and the tartare both with fresh shaved truffle. Just delicious !! We loved it. The service is very... More

First restaurant we went to on our week long holiday next to San Gimignano. Not easy to find when it is closed as they take down the name signs hung next to the door. We booked beforehand for 7pm and on arriving 10 minutes early were curtly told they were not open. Arriving later, we sat in the small courtyard... More

This was the best restaurant of our holiday to Tuscany this year. I packed our trip full of highly rated restaurants and this one was definitely best in terms of food and service. We had a table in the courtyard and the atmosphere was lovely. They greeted us with a glass of prosecco and we had the most fantastic food... More
