Great food. Truely gourmet. I loved the fresh truffels served with egg. Strange combination but tasted so delicious. Good wines. We tasted Grappa made from goat milk! Speciality. Dining here was the highlight of our trip. We ate here twice during our 5 day visit in San Gimignano They are open for lunch too. It can be hot out in... More

I don't know what fate or fortune led us to Cum Quibus on our recent trip to Tuscany but it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a quaint , tea light studded alley way in San Gimignano, this very elegant yet rustic ristorante accommodates no more than perhaps 30 people maximum , while serving up some of the most delectable... We had trouble booking this place (we couldn't) and then when we got to San Gimignano we also had trouble finding it. However the perseverence paid off - we got a table for 4 in the small courtyard at the back and had a wonderful lunch. The staff were very attentive and the general food quality and service was top... More

I visited Tuscany with my girlfriend in June 2014, and this was at the top of our list to dine at. We made our reservations as soon as we arrived and eagerly awaited our night. We were welcomed warmly a seated in their peaceful courtyard at the rear of the restaurant, it was a beautiful night and the stars shone... More

Tried to walk in on a visit but the small dining room was fully booked....came back with a reservation and pleased we did. The food, staff, and service is exceptional. Best was the egg cheese and truffle starter; the Chianina ; spaghetti carbonara . Sales were fresh and crisp A liitle disappointed in the riboleta. Tiny kitchen that puts out... More

We followed the reviews and went to this restaurant. The reviews were spot on the food was one of the top meals we had in Tuscany. I had the truffle pasta which was spectacular one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to other travelers. We went in quite season and the restaurant... The restaurant is very charming and the service is simply outstanding! They are always taking care of us bringing some surprises and amenities. The food is amazing and we recommend to try a kind of filet with truffle. An amazing thing: the waiter, that assisted us, lived in Floripa for a while.

Two points first: I get to eat in great restaurants all over the world. I don't have the time to write reviews for TripAdvisor. Why then write a review for a restaurant that already has almost 2000 reviews on TripAdvisor? Because this place is just too good to ignore. Why should it not exist here in San Gimignano? Because the... More

from the welcome, to the service, to the food, to the excellent wine and closing, it was definitely one of the most memorable meals i've ever had. while i give more weight to the food in a restaurant, this was one of the rare occasions where the service matched the quality of the food. honestly, a lovely experience.
