We sought this restaurant out having read the reviews on TripAdvisor. We went straight past in the first time we walked down the street but I am so glad we went back and looked again. It is just a simple doorway and the inside is quite small, but WOW the food is amazing. The best meal we had in Tuscany... More

I had dinner here last night and it was a fabulous experience. Amazing service from our waiter who was passionate about wine and whisky. We were offered free pecorino with truffle honey to enjoy with our wine and after finishing a special whisky, the waiter poured me a little extra on the house. The food was outstanding also, I had... Had made reservations for dinner but was walking by it at lunchtime and decided to eat there instead...very friendly upon arrival and seated promptly in the outdoor courtyard. The menu was full of the typical tuscan classics along with special section of dishes with fresh truffles...Again split a caprese salad and a tuscan appetizer platter...both so fresh and delicious. I... More

This is THE place to go to in San Gimignano. You will want to make a reservation, even early in the season and that has good reason. Weather permitting you may like to sit outside and don't forget to leave some room for desert such as sheep cheese ice cream (by the local world champion gelatteria!) with pears cooked in... More

This was our best dining experience in Italy and we had a lot of great food. The atmosphere, food, wine and service were all perfect. It is important to call for a reservation. We shared wild boar with homemade pasta to start. It was wonderful. For my main dish I had sirloin steak topped white truffle. Half way into my... More

I can't add much to the rave reviews others have given this place, the pasta, truffles, wine, service and atmosphere were outstanding. All I'd suggest is you leave some room for dessert as the creme caramel is devine, as is the warm molten chocolate cake. Or you can do as we did and gorge yourself!

We ate at this restaurant twice during our two week trip in Italy and think it is the best restaurant we found. It is charming with a very nice garden patio and inside seating. The menu offers many choices and the food is fantastic. Lorenzo was our server both times and really made us feel special, great explanations of the... More

CumQuibus is a little restaurant -- seats maybe 20 inside plus a terrace -- that serves simply excellent Tuscan dishes. It is located as far from the San Gimignano main gate as you can get and yet stay within the walls, but it is worth walking past all the other restaurants in order to get to CumQuibus. The last time... More

We had our last dinner before going back home in CumQuibus and what a grand finale it was. Everything from the beautiful restaurant design, the friendly service and most importantly the delicious food was something to remember. You must be lucky to find a place without reservation as this is one of the busiest restaurants in the area, And yet,... More
