Lovely restaurant, great Tuscan dishes.

This restaurant has a lovely interior but only two outside tables so best to book early if you want to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the magnificent view across the Tuscan hills. They have a limited menu but to me this is a recommendation: 'we serve what we do best'. And the best here is the... read more

Great location, great food, reasonably priced. Overall, you can't beat this place in San Gimignano. Off the main streets so quiet, yet stunning views across the hills from the front door. Great staff. Really interesting building with a mediaeval cellar and fantastic jazz photographs on the walls. Romantic couples should ask for the 'hidden' table on the way to the... More

We came across this restaurant some years ago but alas we never had the time to try it. So on our return 10 years later we new we must fulfill this quest, boy was it worth it. The ambiance and food were utterly divine. As there were four of us we all picked different items from the menu, they all... More

We spent 10 days in various locations in Italy (Positano, Rome, and San Gimignano), and this restaurant was probably our favorite of the whole trip. Everything we had was incredible. The location and ambiance were also nice. Highly highly recommend!!

Fabulous authentic Tuscan food off the main thoroughfare of San Gimignano. Our group had the rabbit, wild boar, and chicken. All beautifully presented and delicious! Much better food at a more reasonable price than those in the main piazza or streets where all the tourists are. For the romantics, ask for either the table for 2 by the window with... More

Great, authentic, reasonably priced. We had the locally grown saffron menu just because it was so different and interesting and it was very good. Looks like a great wine list and you can buy bottles to take away. Interesting menu and you could feel local pride and authenticity. For me, even with the interesting photos and fabulous position, the restaurant... More

There were five of us and each one took something different. We all had a great meal. The quality of the food was excellent and the service very friendly. Don't miss the desserts, they are just fabulous.

The kids loved the past and Pomodoro sauce and I thought wild boar ragu was outstanding. Mixed salads also hit the spot. They worked with gluten free options.

Manager at our Hotel Leon Bianco sent us here for authentic Tuscan cuisine. bingo! Casual, clean, antique decor, quiet with background music. Host and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Wine list was great and reasonable. Now for the food: loved it! All of the local specialties presented well and well priced. Pici was to die for!! Location is fantastic-... More
