Stepping down from the busy Main Street of San Gimignano we had a great meal in a very nice restaurant. Quiet with a jazz atmosphere, good Tuscan menus.

We came across this little restaurant with great views over the landscape, but in the city, by chance. We set out to eat outside but decided too many insects so, went in. What a great choice of restaurant. Truly special modern cuisine. One of us had the saffron tasting menu, all vegetarian, which was truly fabulous. Goats cheese pie, for... More

Walking around looking for another recommended restaurant, we could listen to nice jazz music in that amazing venue! What a great and charming location ! We were kindly welcomed by the passionate owner talking French and English like his kind staff ! We were still curious to taste the food and it has been a fantastic surprise with tasty local... We spent our first dinner in San Gimignano at this delightful restaurant. We just came from a week at cooking school and much overeating so I was trying to put together a lighter meal. My husband and I both started with a dish that was a stack of sliced, roasted vegetables and cheese....delicious! My husband proceeded on with a couple... More

Classy but relaxed atmosphere. The house red wine is lovely. Meal of the evening was most definitely the truffle spaghetti. The beef dish was a bit dry. Pork meatballs and wild boar spaghetti were also great.

This is not your typical pizza and pasta restaurant in Tuscany. The menu is a wide variey of cuisine from the area. The chef is very creative. Our group of nine spent five nights in San Gimignano and this was the best of several fine restaurants we visited. It is a small place with limited seating. Appetizers and dessert are... More

It is so very rare to find a restaurant that is courageous and innovative. Dulcisinfundo in San Gimignano Italy incorporates tradition with a flare that is so very rare. We were treated to a truly sensational meal that left us wishing we lived closer! The other outstanding element was the range of meals for vegetarians .... now that was something... More

This restaurant has a lovely interior but only two outside tables so best to book early if you want to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the magnificent view across the Tuscan hills. They have a limited menu but to me this is a recommendation: 'we serve what we do best'. And the best here is the saffron flavoured... More

Great location, great food, reasonably priced. Overall, you can't beat this place in San Gimignano. Off the main streets so quiet, yet stunning views across the hills from the front door. Great staff. Really interesting building with a mediaeval cellar and fantastic jazz photographs on the walls. Romantic couples should ask for the 'hidden' table on the way to the... More
