This is a lovely small restaurant. The service is extremely helpful and attentive and the meal is well paced. The food is first class (chicken highly recommended) and the wine list is interesting and most budgets would find a bottle to suit. The building is beautiful and there is good space around the tables. The owner seems to like jazz... More

Small restaurant with nice friendly service, good food and good value in a quiet location. A nice choice to get away from the crowds of central San Gimignano. Would certainly return.

We had a quiet, delicious dinner here. The inside ambiance is lovely with its stoned walls and arches. Our entrees were very good. Be sure to order the house wine.

This restaurant is a "farm to table". We were strolling through San Gimignano during the day, keeping an eye open for a nice restaurant for that evening when we spotted this restaurant. Its really small and you could easily pass it and not realise how special a place you were missing out on!! The owner is a lovely man who... More

We recently arrived late in the evening in San Gimignano from France, tired and hungry. We walked around trying to find a restaurant that was still serving. We came upon this "Oasis" of a restaurant. Quaint, great atmosphere, and welcoming-friendly owners. I happen to mention to the server that I cannot eat gluten. Her reply was straight from Heaven above:... More

Roberto and his staff were extremely welcoming to our party with enjoyable conversations. The menu has a very nice selection of local fare. They serve fresh vegetables from the owners own garden picked fresh daily. The Pappardelle with pork cheek was delightfully light, perfect for an early afternoon dinner. The panoramic view of the valley just outside the restaurant will... More

This is where we celebrated my 50th birthday. Because reservations are required so far in advance, everyone dining in the restaurant really wanted to be there. Consequently, there was a very positive "buzz" inside, and the entire evening was fantastic! A real gem.
