Qualityfood and relaxed atmosphere

A perfect place to have lunch or dinner. A restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, informal and high quality food. We dined there twice, early January 2015, and it made us forget very touristy San Gimignano for a while. The interieur is like a homy living room. Highly recommended! Don't forget to... read more

We spent a couple of days walking around the lovely old hill town of San Gimignano and came across this popular restaurant in the quiet Piazza s. Agostino. We sat outside to eat and it was lovely to reflect on this ancient square with the old well in the middle and think of the residents of era's gone by .... More

Out of the way, great location to relax any time of the year. Prices were reasonable, and the kids were easily entertained. I know it sounds odd, and perhaps they had just made it, but possibly the best past I've ever had.... and I eat a lot of Italian pasta.

we had lunch on the terrace of this unassuming resaurant. Beautiful quiet atmosphere. All the images of roses on the wall inside intensified this. The papardelle de cinghiale was excellent, and accompanied by a beautiful glass of Vernaccia de San Gimignano. Very good value. Next time in town we will certainly be back.

We went to this restaurant twice. Loved the outdoor seating and our first night's food was really good. A couple of us had Pici with leeks and sausages and it was wonderful. Nothing fancy, but nice atmosphere and food you want again and again. A couple nights later we were joined by other friends and decided it was so good... More

This is our 2nd visit. It was just as wonderful as it was 2 years ago. The previous post said they would not return. We would return many times. The presentation of the food is gorgeous. The amount of food is great value which is just a bonus. There were 4 of us in our party and everyone of us... More

I can start off by stating that I would not eat here again. It's not that it was a terrible experience, but there's so many wonderful places to choose and the food was just okay. The seating and atmosphere was beautiful - you sit in a courtyard of a church, a bit away from all the crowds - but not... More

We love this restaurant and always have at least 3 meals here during a weeks stay. The pasta dishes are classic and perfectly cooked, the salads & pizza are delicious. Outside seating is in a beautiful, peaceful piazza tucked away in the back of crowded San Gim. Inside seating is quirky and accompanied by equally quirky music. The house wines... More

We ate here twice. Situated in a lovely square away from the crowds. Pizza, pasta and salads are all reasonably priced and generous servings. The house red and white wines are excellent and we enjoyed the gratis Limoncella as an after dinner drink.

tucked away at the back of SG is this restaurant, we ended up staying for lunch and was very glad we did. the food was presented well and tasted amazing, for a small unassuming place it was exquisite. pizza and ribboletta were a must and the salads were very good too
