We lucked out and found this, thanks to TA and the LP website. Great food, we ate outside on the piazza and it was a little brisk that night, even in July (long pants and long sleeves were a good idea). The food was great, perhaps a trifle salty for my taste as most restaurants in Italy were. So nice... More

One of the best meals we've had so far in Italy; small, simple restaurant with very friendly service. Take care when ordering the bruschetta starter though - it's huge!!

My wife and I spent a day in San Gimigano and took a chance on this restaurant. Very glad we did, one of the best meals we had during our two week Italian holiday. The riboleta soup may be the best I have ever had, the owner suggested the boiled pork for dinner, does not sound very tasty but was... More

San Gimignano is a beautiful little Tuscan town; and because of that it is full of tourists. And full of typical Italian pizzerias and other "fast food, fast pasta" places. If you want to experience this beautiful town, but want a break from typical Italian tourist fare, I highly recommend this little restaurant. It is all the way at the... More

This is a great place to have a pasta or pizza while visiting San Gimignano. It's close to one of the parkings outside the city walls, and just 300 ft away from the way leading to the main square. The pastas were excellent, the service was nice, there were live musicians playing very well nearby at the piazza and it... More

Suggested by a retail merchant so we were initially suspect. Frequented by locals and visitors alike as it is a little off the beaten path. The pici with leaks was great and my wife's pasta was equally great. The pana cotta was also very good. Say away from the tourist food - pizza and pasta with red sauce and you... More

Located in a square right next to Church of Sant Agostino we found this to be the quieter area of san Gimignano. We have a nice relaxing lunch while sat in the sun. Food was excellent with good service all away from the main throng of tourists.

Great location, away from the crowds. Right next to Church of Sant Agostino (which is great, definitely worth a visit, Fresco work is amazing) in the square. It was a chilly evening, so we ate inside, but several people ate outside. Food was good. Kids loved the pizza. Adults had pasta. Good house wine. Service was friendly. They even bring... More

My wife stumbled upon this place when we were exploring the side streets of San Gimignano. We both thought this place was delicious. The appetizer board with meats and cheeses is highly recommended. I wanted to try something new and had the pappardelle with wild boar sauce and was not disappointed. We both recommended this place.

If you are looking for a tranquil restaurant in San Gimignano, this place is well worth finding. It is the wonderfully peaceful piazza in front of the Church of Sant Agostino, a few minutes walk from the main busy streets. The tables are a little too close together and the restaurant is understandably very busy but we feel it is... More
