Amazing truffle steak!!!

Had one of the best beef dishes ever at this place. The cut beef steak with truffles is amazing to say the least. It just melts in your mouth. Wife had the truffle gnocchi and was very impressed. They also serve some of the best bruschetta in town.

Had the best Bruschetta ive ever tasted here with truffle and prosciutto crudo! Quite big portion perfect to share as appetizer! as a main i took Tagliata with ruccola and grana. Unfortunately the waiter did not ask how i wanted my meat cooked and i forgot to mention it. Even though the meat was too well done for my liking... More

This is a cozy restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. They had the best pizzas of our holiday as well as great pastas! The interior is cute with look like a mix of a second hand shop and a restaurant. The staff was efficient and friendly. Go here if you want an affordable lunch away... More

We ate here our last night in San Gimignano, unfortunately. If we knew about this place earlier we would have come here several nights. The location was just great, with the beautiful and quiet piazza. I had the wild board stew, and it was so tasty and tender. For dessert we had the tiramisu, and it was spot on! A... More

A local artist recommended this place to us after we found out that most Italian restaurant in Italy do two sitting; one around 7 for tourist and one around 9 for the locals. We like to eat late so this was a perfect experience. We had a three course meal and a bottle of vino. Rabbit dish was amazing, soup... More

I will begin my review by stating that first and foremost, the staff was the highlight of our dining experience. Our waiter was quite nice and helpful. Our food was not only marginal but, none of our 4 meals (including starters) were timed appropriately to come out together. This ristorante might rate well with individuals who are ok with mediocre... More

We last ate here in 2007. We were with family. It was during a trip to Tuscany, that we stopped in San Gimignano for lunch . We purposed to come back and eat here, as we enjoyed it thoroughly 8 years prior. It did not disappoint this time either. Very good pizza, and caprese salad.

The place and the Environment is special! The food was so delicious especially "Pici al ragu" and "Panna al zafferano" which is particular. Recommended.

We were staying in Ulignano, and the owner of our hotel recommended that we go to San Gimignano for dinner. We chose this restaurant as it was a bit off the beaten path from the town square and we were really happy that we did. Given that we had just traveled from Liguria where we ate nothing but fish based... More

I can't wait to return to San Gimignano, if for no other reason than to enjoy the delicious, regional food and lovely hospitality of Locanda di Sant' Agostino. I ate here every day of my stay and loved every meal. The restaurant is family run, the food is all locally sourced, and the location is a very welcomed respite from... More
