The set dinner at EUR25 is among the best I had in Italy. Home made pasta is fantastic. The dishes are so big. I can eat a lot normally but I cant finish the dessert here. The owner is a very nice guy too, a big contrast to some bad experiences I had with some Italian waiters.

We did not have a reservation but hoped that we could get in as it was late 2130 on a Sunday evening. No problems the place was deserted. We were the only ones there. Loved the decor. It is in a student area so prices were very reasonable. Cannoli with vegetables and cheese as a starter was delicious. We each... More

Warm welcome, great menu choice and the two of us enjoyed an excellent dinner. The food was truly amazing, and the home made fresh pasta dishes especially so! All was beautifully presented and overall, this was very good value. This restaurant is not at all pretentious and the balance of local dishes, sensibly priced wine and mineral water make this restaurant... Lovely rustic decor and a calm, welcoming atmosphere, but the main reason for the review is the food, which was outstanding - the best I had over 10 evening meals I had in Tuscany restaurants. The local pasta dishes were rich and tasty and the tiramisu ice cream was so creamy! Portion sizes were sensible too. Strongly recommend, rare to... More

Our party of 11 including a baby, 2 children and 2 teenagers all loved this restaurant. Most of us chose from the set 25 euro menus which included 3 courses, a glass of wine and water. The home made fresh pasta dishes were exquisite and the beef was full of flavour. Delicious pannacotta and a gorgeous local cake finished the... More

I am a vegetarian, my wife a carnivore. We both found this restaurant excellent. The pasta with porcine mushrooms (not easy to get right) was cooked to perfection and when my wife found the meat just a little to rare it was taken to the kitchen and carefully browned. We also tried the fixed price menu which provided excellent food... More

We visited during the Festival of Lights on Sunday 16th June. The restaurant was busy but the service was excellent. We don't speak Italian but the waiter was great, suggesting the red wine etc. the food was excellent and as the wife is vegetarian, she was delighted to find loads of veggie - fish options. Highly recommend.

In two visits we tried both the fixed price menu and the a la Carte, and found good value food in both. The wine list is very good. However, no English is spoken here, so make sure you have your phrase book/dictionary with you.
