Yummy Pasta

They were able to fit us in when we turned up at half 7 on a Saturday evening. Lovely fresh food. We had a 1 litre carafe of wine, two starters and two pasta dishes for 50 Euros. Very nice al dente pasta, and tasty sauce.

Went here on the recommendation of our B&B and Trip Advisor. Restaurant is a family run business and the food wonderful. Starter, pasta and dessert were all very tasty and the price very reasonable. Would certainly recommend a visit and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

A friendly family run restaurant with a good standard menu plus an excellent specials board. House wine by various size carafe was good and the food was exceptional. Mainly locals on other tables but we weren't made to feel out of place by the staff. Thoroughly recommended.

A warm welcome, excellent quality food made on the premises in a true Pisan Damien run restaurant at a very reasonable price. What more could you want? We returned for a second meal during our short stay in Pisa as it was so good. Certainly worth a visit.

We visited at the recommendation of our tour guide. We went with high expectations but left disappointed. We ordered two salads and two pasta dishes; everything was very plain. The house wine was good, and the service wasn't bad, but the food was bland. It may have just been the dishes we chose, but we've had better Italian in Germany.... More

We ate here after seeing good reviews and walking past it earlier in the day. As a warning opening seemed to be at 8pm rather than the 7.30 noted online. However staff English was excellent and we were given a table soon after opening. We started with the seafood antipasti for two, not cheap at 30 euros but as it... More

We were recommended this restaurant by one of the cafe owners in Pisa and I'm certainly glad we followed his advise. Me, my brother and daughter shared a mix seafood platter for the first course. It was absolutely incredible; basically it was like a tasting menu! Dish after dish arrived at our table; truly fantastic. My advise is don't order... More

We wanted some good local food, we weren't disappointed. We picked a starter (if you like meat I strongly recommend "carpaccio di chianina") and a pasta course each, and we shared a dessert. We ended up paying about 24€ each (including a bottle of water) but we were pretty full and satisfied. They seem to have pretty good house wine.

We went for dinner and had 2 dishes from the menu of the day: the cinghiale (wild boar with black olive) stew served with polenta, and the pappardelle al sugo di coniglio (pasta with wild rabbit / green olives ragu). These two traditional Tuscan peasant dish were absolutely fantastic: slow-cooked with love and so tasty! On a cold evening of... More

Had dinner here as part of a group dinner. Beautiful local food, at a decent price. I had gnocchi, then a duck dish, both cooked perfectly. A lovely tiramisu to finish. Very nice, I definitely recommend!
