We stopped for lunch on recommendation of best seafood. We were the only tourists, food was simple but VERY tasty. Slightly dearer than other lunch restaurants but well worth it. Nice atmosphere, service was great, slow enough to relax and enjoy the food Italian style without being unattentive. Would recommend.

this could have been a very good dining experience, but the poor service rendered by the sole young waiter just ruined it. Don't know if they expected fewer customers on a Monday night, but one waiter could not handle the 26 to 28 diners who were seated while I was there. Had to ask him twice for the wine and... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. When we arrived there were few patrons and it felt too quiet and formal, but it got livelier. The food was really good and the bread was to die for. I had deep fried anchovies followed by spaghetti with clams; my husband a spinach souffle then porcini mushroom risotto. There was only... More

Our hotel recommended the restaurant - but I checked Trip Advisor before going. We didn't book and the restaurant was very busy with locals when we arrived. Pleasant waiter found us a table. We realised he was the only one waiting and there must have been 40 or more diners, so knew it might be slow, but he was very... More

This is a friendly, local restaurant with some very tasty dishes. However, when we were there, they were clearly understaffed...The two servers in play worked past themselves, so this is not a complaint about the staff...but an hour's wait for our meal to be delivered was not on. Tip: Try the biscotti with wine for afters!

Recommended by our hotel and what a great find. Thoroughly enjoyable home cooked food . The restaurant is used by local people and soon became full . We were surprised when the bill arrived, It was probably half the price of what we would of paid in Florence where we had travelled from.

Recommended by our hotel. We went twice. The best choice is the set menu - leek soufflé, pasta, beef and dessert - 25 Euros, with a glass of wine. Obviously well thought of locally, as on both nights there were groups of locals eating there. Chat them up and get a free grappa!

This restaurant was recommended by a local person. Great food and atmosphere. 10 EUR set lunch is popular for the local business people. Excellent deserts, too.

My family visited here on a recent stay to Pisa. The food was very good. I had a delicious pasta meal. The kids had pizzas which were lovely and the desert were gorgeous. The service was very good to and the house chianti was very nice. We had this restaurant recommended by the hotel manager and we were glad we... More
