Excellent food but too expensive

The food we had was really nice, but the prices are high. Obviously you can not complain about that as the prices are exposed outside on the menu, but we were expecting to have something extraordinary (and that was not the case).

Our hotel manager recommended this restaurant and we enjoyed our meal and the attentive service. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. He was extremely busy but took time to make certain we had a good experience. Prices were reasonable.

We were told about this restaurant by our B&B and we received a friendly welcome. The menu is not vast but there are ample choices and the waiter was helpful in his recommendations. Other diners have made comments about the area, which is near the station, but it was close to our B&B and we were OK with the short... More

We were sent to Ristorante Galileo by our hotel clerk otherwise we would have never even went to that part of the City. Graffiti filled walls line the dark alley we went down to get to this place. The tourist menu was expensive and limited. Ordering off the fixed tourist menu was alacarte so it was even more expensive. The... More

The restaurant is fairly spacious and well laid out with tables outside and in air conditioned comfort. Again the menu is limited with most dishes of beef . No lamb . The wines served are of good quality and the food is good . However it does seem slightly more pricey than other places but the owner Marco makes up... More

Recommended by the lady who runs the B and B we are staying in, we have returned here serveral times. This is truly a great place to eat with fresh ingredients expertly prepared, a vast selection of fine wines and friendly service well able to cope with English speaking customers. Topping that, our bill was frightfully low and we double... More

We had only ont night in Pisa during our travel in Italy. To not just wander around the streets, we asked our hotel host to suggest a place for us. Ristorante Galileo was her favorite, thus she recommended us to go there. When entering the room, we got a really good vibe that we wouldn't be disappointed. The food was... More

In the middle of the day I had nice full dinner with drink and dessert included, and all that just for 10 euros. I was kind of full-lunch-deal. But even without the deal all prices I would call cheap for the restaurant atmosphere, hospitality, and perfect quality of food.
