Excellent food, great service and friendly atmosphere. Nice location with jazz music and furniture in a pub like style in the inne town of Pisa just a fem meters from the shopping disctrict. The ovner is very friendly. We stayed in the restaurant with 8 children and 7 adults and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The restaurant opens at 1900... More

We got here without reservation on a Friday evening around 8 PM. We took a look at the menu, but basically let the waiter - probably the owner - help us to choose something. We had a portion of "fettunte" - a kind of bruschetta (grilled bread) with cooked vegetables on it, escalloped with cheese, and a cheese plate as... More

We were in the restaurant, four of us. Two of us took the meny with meat and other two vegetarian menu. Both menus were good. A slight disappointment was that menu promised different wine for different meal. The wines for vege and met meny were the same. Anyway, Tinti was a good experience.

Price is fair for what you get, ~30 euro each, so not cheap, but it worths every cent. Discovered by accidents one night coming back from florence. After a long working day out of town my wife and i wanted to taste some "cinghiale" nearby our place, and found Osteria del Tinti on tripadvisor. The choice was excellent, place is... More

This restaurant was so good, we went back twice and made friends with the staff! We found this restaurant by accident - it is down a narrow alley off Via Stretto (shopping street) - the alley turns off by the Armani shop. This is a small restaurant serving typical Tuscan food. It was better than any other restaurant we went... More

Our original plan for dinner fell through so we wandered the streets looking for somewhere to eat that seemed authentic yet non-touristy. Seeing some locals dining at this little restaurant, we decided to eat here and how glad we we were! All our meals were delicious but mine was excellent - black rice with orange and huge prawns; one of... More

With only an evening to spend in Pisa and after a quick trip to the Tower, we did not think we would find anywhere nice to eat in Pisa. We were getting weary but stumbled on this little gem of a restaurant, off the main shopping area. The food was magnificent and authentic. We had crayfish with seasonal fruit and... More

We happened across Osteria Del Tinti about midway into our Italy trip. As it was during August, many places were closed and we were getting very jaded about Italian food (we'd struggled to find reasonably priced *good* food in Venice and Florence, previously -- possibly because only tourist traps were open at this time of year). This place is down... More

We literally walked around for over an hour trying to find a place to eat that wasn't a tourist trap (with paint by numbers menus). Using Trip Advisor while we stopped for a glass of wine, we saw the reviews for this restaurant which was steps away. Everything was authentic and excellent, just as we'd hoped for our last meal... We were quite frustrated about all the restaurants we had visited during our Tuscany trip that turned out to be average to terrible and then we found this one. The food here is fantastic, it was all fresh, nicely served, original and the menu had an english version. Service was great too, fast, forthcoming, english speaking - which was also... More
