We sat down outside, no service at all. I went inside and ordered two coffees, we waited for a long while. A friendly waitress came with our cups at last. I turned to ask our waitress a question, but was interrupted in doing so by a gloomy dark haired young woman sailing by, who was obviously in charge here. She... More

This brasserie serves a reasonable selection of meals and is situated on a corner area of the main thoroughfare from the train station. I was staying overnight at the nearby Hotel Le Pace, therefore this was convenient as I didn't want to wander too far. It resembles what appears to be the italian version of a Beefeater Restaurant though in... More

We went into this place, staff were unfriendly and not responsive. To me it was bordering on them being racial. We were shown to a table. The place was rather empty so we asked for a larger table and was refused but when another couple walked by the same staff, they picked a six seater for 2 persons... no issue... More

Very nice place to have just a pizza - the loggia is gorgeus, the pizza was excellent - one of the best pastas I ahve had in Italy. The service is average and smiling - the cook is a big joke maker...:) Fun to stop by and have a slow dinner.

Just wanted something quick while waiting for a train back to Lucca, so we went inside this place. The cook was very friendly as was the woman working the cash register. As we watched, they made us a pizza in their pizza oven from a lump of dough in 4 minutes flat (i.e., these stories about 'frozen pizza' in the... More

Nice location and situated not far from the station. Service was pleasant but alarm bells ring when you have to pay before you eat. To cut the story short the pizza was frozen. Yep thats right I was served frozen pizza in Pisa. I mean you go to Italy with big expectations just to find out it's no better than... More

We "ate" hear before getting back to the airport. We ordered 2 Lasagne, 1 Turkey Roast, 1 chicken breast and 1 Pork Roast together with a beer, a coffee and a bottle of water. We heard all meals being prepared by a microwave oven. The food was disgusting and the chicken fridge cold. The remedy for the cold food was... More

Where do I start. We wanted a nice meal in Pisa and purely hunger drove me into this establishment. Alarm bells wrang when the waitress asked for money before serving any food. This is highly unusual for any restaurant. It was probably wise of them to take this route because once I saw the food I wanted my money back.... More
