Great service, even better food. The owner makes you feel right at home. Found this place accidentally while backpacking through Pisa with my friends and had our best meal in Italy. Great ambient music to eat to. From Los Angeles.

Past this restaurant one morning whilst out for a walk & checked reviews on here. So pleased we did The food is out of this world, it is a set menu can either have meat or fish. Everything is local produce & whatever is fresh that day The chef/owner is really enthusiastic & explains where everything is from Our steak... More

Stumpled upon this when unusually having two hours to kill before a flight from the airport and it happened to be lunchtime. You either choose the fish or the meat menu and they serve you whatever is fresh and good that day. On our day in mid-January it was all really excellent. We shared the fish menu between two and... very limited choice (it is either beef or fish menu: two options only), but good food, reasonably priced. It is a simple venue, but all in all ok. Wine list limited, but varied and again ok and reasonably priced.

Definitely one of the best meals we have had at any restaurant ever in the world. After walking through Pisa coming back from a week at the beach at Castiglione della Pescaia, we stumbled onto this place in a small street right near the Arno River. After passing it the first time to see other places, we (or rather I)... More

We were a group of six and were welcomed very nicely at the restaurant. The chef who is the owner of the restaurant greeted us and described what's on the menu for the day. Marvelous food including Antipasto (variety of cold cuts), Primi (pasta al Ragu') and for second plate, a choice between ribeye and fish was served. Also dessert... More

I have lived in Pisa for one year now and this has become my favourite restaurant. The food is exceptional, authentic Italian cuisine, served in abundance at a great price and with fantastic service. There is always a choice of a meat or seafood set menu, 3 courses plus sides for just €20, and more food than I can finish.... More

I recently went to this restaurant with my boyfriend! We decided to try this restaurant in particular because they offered a set menu! He ordered meat and I ordered fish! The portions are huge, and you have a very good relationship between price and how much you eat! No complaining a there =) I give a 3 review because, although... More

I am positive only a few places like this Osteria exist. Away from the crowd, in a little narrow street sporting a chalk drawn banner depicting the food of the day, this is not a restaurant and menus do not exist. Indeed, the owner (also Chef) and his brother base the meals on what they manage to fish themselves from... More
