Love this place!

Went here, as the place we were recommended was closed and a vegetarian menu was advertised here.. Took this as an omen, and were glad we did. Fantastic food (rare for me to say as a vegetarian) and very friendly service. Rolando and Rossario were perfect hosts - friendly and generous - only... read more

Came across this place accidentally while exploring Pisa with my girlfriend, the smell enticed us to enter as we passed. The layout and atmosphere made for an immediate welcoming and romantic feeling. The way the wine is displayed, and an open fire. The service was incredibly friendly, which again added to this feeling. I had the meat 3 course meal,... More

Wonderful Dinning. A Lovely small restaurant with great service and a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The food was of high quality and the prices are value for money. I would personally recommend and would visit again.

Great lunch menu! Don't go there for a quick lunch, take your time for a delicious 3 course menu (local, fish or vegetarian). Really friendly host and the meat prepared next to your table in the fireplace.

We were staying very nearby and were travelling with a baby, but still wanted some top notch food. We were made to feel very welcome particularly baby .The set menus which were on offer at dinner as well as lunch were excellent value. Out party sampled the meat, fish and truffle menus. All were great - but we would like... More

Very nice place somewhere in Pisa...))) I did not know that is has any Tripadviser`s awards.. We were just walking the streets with my friend and found it in one of the lanes....I like most of all that nobody spoke English there... I guess the man who serve us was the owner of this place, he spoke only Italian. It... More

Hidden in the University of Pisa quarter right off the Lungo Arno is run by the family with a long restaurant tradition. Absolute freshness is guaranteed by the simplest menu. Fish or Terra, each consisting of three courses. Nothing else is served with the exception of several home made deserts. We more than enjoyed a mushroom menu with fresh ovoli... More

We came across Osterio del Violino by chance while looking for a lunch stop. We usually avoid places that are nearly empty but this was lunchtime and we found ourselves drawn in. What a find! Friendly personal service and a "meat or fish?" Menu. We went with the flow and had a fabulous, memorable experience with great food and wine.... More
