Went here today (Monday) when other restaurants we planned to go to turned out to be closed on Mondays. Glad we did, limited menu but good 3course set menu (meat or fish or vegetarian ) for a very reasonable price.

We were looking for somewhere to have a long, leisurely lunch on our last day in Pisa and we spotted the sign for the Osteria del Violino down a little side-street. We thought we were going to be disappointed as the door was locked, but two Italian ladies who arrived at the same time as us persisted, and we were... More

We visited this place today at 430pm starving but unsure whether the restaurant would be happy to feed us at such a strange hour. We were greeted by the owner who accepted us irrespective of the fact that the restaurant was totally empty. The food was brilliant. Made by his wife to perfection. 2 plates of pasta one with scampi,... More

What a nice surprise was it! The owner knows what to do to make a unforgettable evening. The choice was easy, a 3 course meal with a perfect start of antipasti, second a delicious parpadelle and thereafter the best t-bone italian style! The accompanying wine was a good advice, we love to come back some day, thanks!!!

The service was really pleasant and good. Food was excellent! The menu was in italian and there was not that much where to choose from, but everything we ate.. meat with mushrooms, tagliatella with mushrooms, panna cotta and creme brule were perfect! It was a small restairant with nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

Went here, as the place we were recommended was closed and a vegetarian menu was advertised here.. Took this as an omen, and were glad we did. Fantastic food (rare for me to say as a vegetarian) and very friendly service. Rolando and Rossario were perfect hosts - friendly and generous - only sorry we couldn't converse more in Italian... Came across this place accidentally while exploring Pisa with my girlfriend, the smell enticed us to enter as we passed. The layout and atmosphere made for an immediate welcoming and romantic feeling. The way the wine is displayed, and an open fire. The service was incredibly friendly, which again added to this feeling. I had the meat 3 course meal,... More

Wonderful Dinning. A Lovely small restaurant with great service and a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The food was of high quality and the prices are value for money. I would personally recommend and would visit again.
