Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!

Followed the trip advisor recommendations and found this absolute gem of a shop!! He is enthusiastic, passionate and a magician with flavours. It is cooked in front of you and makes the mouth water. Well worth a visit, (don't ask for what is on the 'tourist menu board' as they are the boring... read more

I read the highly rated review on this place and was looking forward to trying the food in the shop. When I arrived, I saw the guy and I just looked into his shop and he rudely just told me while he was on the phone that he was closed. He didn't even mentioned whether he is opening soon or... More

If you are near the station and don't know where to eat, make a small walk and go to Gianni. His sympathy and kindness will make you love this place. You can choose so many ingredients, but if you are undecided, ask him and he will cook you the tastier sandwich you'll never tried. Trust me, you'll never regret!

Fabulous spot for a lunchtime speciality baguette. Not much space for seating but well worth a visit. Ask the chef for his favorite baguette.

In city dominated by tourist trap cafes, it was a relief to find this place. On entering his restaurant for lunch, we found Gianni working his magic at the grill making pomodoro from scratch (!!!!!!!!) and putting the finishing touches on his homemade cremas (!!!!!!!!) from scratch. At this point, we knew we found the right place. We decided to... More

We parked in the large lot across from the leaning tower and had a 25 minute walk in sweltering heat. We were glad we didn't give up when we saw the fresh ingredients in the chiller. What a range of cooked meats and cheeses! We plumped for two sandwiches on the large board which were fantastic. We agreed afterwards it... More

This sandwich place is truly unique. A super friendly owner whose pasion for food is hard to miss will fix you any sandwich you want for 5 euros. If we ever come back to Pisa we will certainly come back!

This small restaurant was a bit far from our hotel, however, we decided to conclude by ourselfs if it was worth the 20 minutes’ walk. Preferably use an offline map on your phone as the place is quite hidden. We arrived there at 10 pm and were immediately served, the owner made us two sandwiches which we shared. One word…... More

Seriously, this was the best sandwich I have ever tasted. The only problem is that I didn't share it with enough people so they think I'm crazy when I keep going on about this sandwich. But you won't understand unless you've been there. Please please please, if you ever find yourself in Pisa go there BEFORE even visiting the leaning... More

We found this place from TripAdvisor and we did not regret visiting here! Johnny the chef tailor made two sandwiches for us and they were sooooo special and delicious! And we find the real taste of Italian. Thank you Johnny.
