Best sandwiches of Italy trip for lunch

My wife & I stumbled upon this sandwich joint as we were walking to the Leaning Tower of Pisa from the train. The sandwiches at this restaurant were cheap, tasty, and generously portioned. Be sure to have a meal here!Owner Johnny makes the fabulous bread and various interesting, seasonal toppings and sauces for the meaty sandwiches. We had a pumpkin and a porcini topping, both of which were delicious. It was nearly impossible to choose from all the options so we asked Johnny to make one of his favorites. Incredibly good! We then... More

Delicious sandwiches with great service. We asked for a sandwich recommendation and ordered off the menu treats, one sausage and one ragu. Would recommend!

We didn't stay in Pisa but had time to nip from the station to get lunch. We had read reviews and were so excited to try for ourselves this little Gem of a Restaurant. The owner prepares your order and cooks it with love just for you! We asked him for 3 different sandwiches of his suggestion. 1. Aubergine with... More

Best sandwich I had! The owner was very friendly and helpful with the ordering. Baguette was crispy and it's simply yummy. Do try the tiramisu as well, equally recommended! Only minor problem is that it is and small shop and has limited seats. Nonetheless, it should not stop you from trying this, no regrets!

Came here with high expectations and was not disappointed. Hands down BEST baguettes! The menu can seem confusing but the owner is hilarious! Making the the comment that the menu is old and outdated "What's there.. you can buy at a supermarket." So it's best that you ask him to make whatever he recommends. We had one with grilled sausage... More

Created an account just to let everyone know how awesome this place is! Chose this place after seeing all the great reviews and boy did they deserve them. We came in abit early (dinner starts after 1900 in Italy) but the owner still welcomed us warmly. He offered to serve up some of his own creations and we happily left... More

We made a point of finding this little gem of a place to have lunch after reading the great reviews already received, and so glad we did. We were very warmly greeted and asked the friendly gent to surprise us with his choice. He invited us to sit and enjoy a beer for 5 mins as he had bread in... More

We went to Gusto Giusto for lunch as we saw that it was a high rated place here on trip advisor. We were not disappointed at all. It's a small place but YOU MUST go there. There is a big variety of sandwiches, for that reason I just asked the owner to follow his creativity and come up with something... More
