With a group of ten people to celebrate a very special ocassion, we had a feast with a great price and delicious food in a petit pretty Tuscan place with modern chandeliers. There were three starters, but the most mouth-melting one for me was a mushroom flan in a bechamel sauce, followed by macarrons with guancile di cinta senese (a... More

On the evening we visited we were the only non Italians dining but the staff were very attentive & helpful & spoke good English. The menu is quite small with a limited choice of fish, meat & pasta but we both enjoyed our meal. The food is cooked to order. The house wine was excellent & extremely good value. We... More

Good quality understated restaurant with swift friendly service. Fish and pasta both very good, price correct. Lobster tagliatelle does involve half a shell on lobster ! Recommended.

We stumbled across this place on our first night in Italy. I don't think I've had a happier accident. This place does fantastic rustic Tuscan food. Particular highlights are the boar ragu stew and the Spaghette alla chitarra with cacio. The wine selection is vast and the staff are extremely diligent and friendly.

We stayed in Pisa for only one night and were looking for a good local restaurant. Our hotel recommended this place for dinner and after double checking on TA, we decided to try, and weren't disappointed at all. It is located in a quiet back street in a residential zone, not v obvious to find at all. It looked a... More

Went alone. Nice little place - I had a seafood soup, which was pretty good, a glass of house red wine, same, and a steak with rocket and parmesan that was a little underseasoned but delicious once I got some salt, pepper and a bit of balsamic involved. Chocolate fondant flan thing - standard but tasty. Decent espresso once they... More

Entered this Osteria after arriving in Pisa after a quick browsing of the menu. The servers were attentive and quick, the menu had a good selection of especially sea-food. Ordered a lobster tagliatelle which was excellent, good size portion and good cooking. Paid 16 euro which in my opinion is very good value for money. The atmosphere was quiet and... More

What a great place. Lovely fresh seafood done properly. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. If you stopping by in Pisa please stay away from touristic so called restaurants by the tower. Come here and have a real Italian feel. Enjoyed a lot. Will definately come back.
