Very good Sea food/Italian restaurant in the heart of Pisa!

Great sea food restaurant, lovely creative dishes... Try the fried shrimp and calamari dish, it's Divine! Only down side to this place that it is a bit crowded, making the service not top of its game... Didn't effect our night and meal which were both superb. WORTH A PUNT! ;-)

I've reviewed this restaurant before, a year and a half ago, but it's worth stressing that the quality and overall experience are just as good now, some time on and in a different season. This time we had to sit indoors, and were able to appreciate the quirky décor. Service remains cheerful and efficient. Some dishes are new to us,... More

We decided to go to Florence for three days and spend out first night in Pisa since our flight was in the late afternoon. We arrived in Pisa on Valentine's Day so I booked a table a week before by sending an email. We had a very warm welcome in the restaurant and although we do speak Italian, I noticed... More

A nice atmosphere to this restaurant, a bit mixed in terms of decor, mixing modern and old. The menu gives lots of choice. The food was nice and you could tell it was freshly prepared. We found it a bit hit and miss - excellent starter, mediocre main, nice dessert.

We were so lucky to get a table in this osteria after arriving after 8 pm. We were very warmly welcomed by the staff and we quickly realized we made the right choice for our last dinner in Pisa. This place is elegant but it also makes you feel almost like at Italian home. The atmosphere is relaxing. The waiters... More

A group of us went to the Osteria San Paolo late on a rainy Saturday evening after failing to find a table in other recommended restaurants. The restaurant was well worth seeking out. The antipasto di terra was excellent by any standard. I ordered rana pescatrice which came on a bed of cannellini beans but was wrapped in too much... More

Apart from a very nicely furnished restaurant and a romantic atmosphere, here I got the best pasta I've tasted in ages. The papardelle with cinghiale (wild boar) was to die for. We were then slightly let down with one of the main courses (the cinghiale in tartufo) which was very small compared to the fillet of beef, and the sauce... More
