Attentive service

Visited at Easter, everything good standard. The home made pasta was a bit heavy, couldn't eat it all but had a 'rustic' quality. The owner was chatty and seemed concerned the food was to our liking. Would have better atmosphere if more people were eating, it was almost empty but early on in the... read more

We ate dinner in this restaurant on the last night of our stay in Italy. Being a tuesday night in early April it was very quiet and we didnt have any trouble finding somewhere to eat. This restaurant is small enough to walk past.....its just a door from the street with a dining room at the end of a narrow... More

We went to this restaurant because we didn't want to have lunch at restaurant with: "tourist menu" and we have no problems at all. Good pasta al pesto and good pizzas. The best for my it was the Tiramisu for desert!! It was amazing!! Also the staff very friendly and kind. Good place!

Does not look or feel like a tourist's place - for the best. Prices are very reasonable, staff extremely friendly. This was a very nice surprise. Not easy to find from the street because there's a narrow corridor leading to the main room on the other side of the building. Customers were mostly italians!

Even being surrounded by a crush of tourists (its only a couple of blocks from the tower) this little place served a great lunch. Pasta, bread, salad, vino. Great stuff and reasonably priced.

Service was ok, but the pizza was awful, undoubtedly not something you can expect in Italy. And the coke wasn't better (draft and not sparkling). We didn't dare going for desserts...

We last visited Pisa around 2 years ago and while exploring around the Tower, we spotted this little restaurant with a Tripadvisor rating in the window. It was a nice meal (reviewed here also) so when we returned to Pisa, we decided to pop in again for the amazing mushroom pasta. The sign was still in the window however, the... More

I had seafood linguine, a mixed salad and a wine - all were nice, although the seafood was perhaps a little bit crunchy/sandy. And perhaps a little pricey?

We went to peperoncino tonight and had a good time. Sitting outside there is nice and the service was helpful and friendly. I had spaghetti bolognese which was yummy and big, my boyfriend had the seafood menu which was also very good and enormous portions. We enjoyed ourselves and would go again.
