Unexpected surprise

Just a stone throw away from the Tower of Pisa, this small venue offers great Toscan food delights. Wonderful service & cosy atmosphere comes on top.

After visiting the tower of Pisa, we wanted to grab some dinner nearby and found this little place. From the outside it does not look very attractive but do not let that change your mind because it is amazing. The food was great, we had an appetizer, two main courses and two deserts and some drinks for 66 euros. The... More

It was our last night in Italy and having trawled through Tripadvisor decided to book this terrific little taverna. Ideally situated near the Piazza dei Miracoli and only a 15 minute walk from our hotel it didn't disappoint and made for a great finale to our two weeks in Tuscany. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, authentic Tuscan cuisine and exceptionally good... More

Excellent homemade pastas with shaved black truffle; cured meats with dought fritters; the Fiorentina steak was a bit disappointing though.

Brilliant food and service especially from Jessica who took time on a busy night to explain the full menu to us. When we didn't like the bottle of wine we had chosen this was changed immediately to one she recommended with no fuss. Returned for second time three days lat er and again had a wonderful meal.

After seeing the sights of Pisa, we walked about ten minutes to eat here for lunch. We were so glad we did. The menu was in Italian, but our waitress helped us to find something. We started with the included homemade bread (4 different kinds), served with olive oil and balsamic. It was all good and so fresh. Later, I... More

The dinner that we had was so wonderful that we would go back to Pisa just to eat here again. The service was warm and welcoming. Homemade bread in a take home bag. Pasta was fresh and everything was tasty and portions were generous. Wine was reasonable. I had the carbonara and it was the best I have ever eaten.... More

Hard to locate as the name is on the awning. Food wqs outstanding. The chef came out of the kitchen to make sure, which was a nice touch.

We booked this for our first night in Pisa as it was close to the hotel and had good reviews. The restaurant itself is stunning, and perfect for romantic meals. The menu is in Italian, but one of the two waitresses who were working helped us translate. The starter of the fried bread with meats on top was one of... More
