We went there two time on our short trip to Pisa, we just had to try more from the menu. It's just like having dinner at my Gramas house, such a simple place but full with kindness. We had the feeling of home cooked dinner with love and interest.Wine was also great. I will definitely go back when i'm in... More

I will never stop to thank you for your professionalism - with excellent quality of food - but also for the hospitality! When I don't want to stay at home, I go to the SCHIACCIANOCI.. And I feel like to be at home.. with the same feelings and quality of food!!! Greetings. Nicola & Amedeo

This restuarant is situated in a rather scruffy street, opposite Piazza Stazionne. However, the locale does not do justice to the splendid food on offer at remarkably good prices. It is like sitting in someone's front parlour, with service by the owner/manager who has a knowledge of English. For lovers of seafoood and also pasta, the menu is a delight.... More

Felt as though we were dining in someones home . Patron welcoming and with a gentle humour provided an excellent meal with local wine at a very reasonable price . Fish we had proved excellent and patron promised an interesting sweet and fulfilled his promise.

It's not much to look at from the outside, but the food is wonderful! Had a fantastic salami plate to start, and an outstanding carbonara. Tasted the gnocchi, and spaghetti pomodoro as well. Both were delicious. Everything is fresh and homemade. Wine was tasty as well. All was reasonably priced.

We went there during the visit to Pisa and recommended by the B&B. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm. The taste of the food was excellent, we enjoyed the pasta a lot. The price was reasonable and the owner was really friendly. Strongly recommend to anyone who wants to eat nice pasta.

The owners were very friendly, speak English and made us feel at home straight away and throughout our meal. The food is excellent. Tip - If visiting bring cash as payment as when we visited they did... More

Yes, we chose this because of the reviews on Tripadvisor, and we weren't disappointed. It would have been easy to miss otherwise! Lovely old couple running the place. Simple traditional well cooked food with fresh ingredients. We had prawns in dill sauce and the local suasage, which came with some roasted verdura - vegetables - aubergine courgette and pepper. lovely.... More
