Two Stars is only for the view of the Leaning Tower, Food is HORRIBLE

I gave this restaurant two stars because it has a perfect view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The waiter and the worker who beckoned us in were friendly enough...but the food was AWFUL and not cheap. This was one of the worst meals I have ever had anywhere...in the world. My daughter ordered the... read more

Very straightfoward; 10 euros a head for a pizza and a drink at lunchtime. Two adults eating vegetarian - and perfectly used to the Italian custom of the 'vegetable pizza' being whatever's in the kitchen on the day (though the first time I've had carrots on a pizza, for sure!!); two children with ham and chicken respectively, they couldn't really... The meal we had here was certainly not the best we have had in Italy and was probably one of the poorest. However I do not agree with some of the previous reviews, we did have very good service, the staff were all very pleasant and the bottle of Chianti at 10 Euro was excellent. The price of the food... After visting the leaning tower and other attractions of Pisa we were so hungry and didn't put a lot of effort in searching for special restaurant neither reading reviews so we just took one that was looking quiet decent at first sight. (Bad decision) According to the way how restaurant is looking like we didn't expected too much but all... More

My husband and I 'dined' here this evening. As soon as I walked in something was telling me to leave. It felt quite fast food like, not dining. We ordered a starter of meat platter etc...A plate arrived with the meat. A few minutes, the bread arrived. Very strange service. For main I had lasagne. This was tasteless, cold, watery and just... A friend and I shared a half liter of house white wine, and two appetizers for 25 euro. The appetizers were three little pieces of toast with some spread on it, and a cheese plate with a few pieces of cheese. The wine tasted a bit watered down and astringent. I thought it was a rather pricey snack. The wine... More

Had lunch here today - 1st of January, stopped for a couple of pizzas before visiting the sites. The view from sitting outside is amazing and that's what attracted us to the place. The pizzas were greasy and toppings sparse! For a 4 topping pizza it had two pieces of ham and two pieces of salami! Wouldn't go back here,... More

This trattoria enjoys a great location yet we first asked if they have wifi and were told they do. We were then escorted through multiple passageways to a remote set of tables, and the then waiter said we would have to see if the 'line' could reach - neither of us could detect a single wifi at all. The food... More

I took my family to this restaurant without checking reviews beforehand and regret it greatly. The food was the worst I've ever eaten on any trip. It literally tasted like it was from a can. I really didn't expect much sine it was a touristy location, but it was truly horrid. Everyone in our party left most of their food... More

After a great time climbing the leaning Tower we were ready for lunch and this place is just near the nearest intersection and from an outside table you can look at the tower while eating. Busy spot and the service was quick. We decided to have the special lunch, my wife had the spaghetti bolognaise and I had the chicken... More
