The bistro of my dreams is the little tiny restaurant; it’s the cute shop where you can go for a coffee or a glass of wine. It’s a place where you can eat the traditional Italian dish, sip a good wine and meet your people. It’s a place where you can chat while eating spaghetti, while learning secrets, sipping a “brunello”, or a grappa while listening to music or reading a book. Where love gets done and undone. And coffee. Where you’re early and it gets late. Here you are in my home. You are my guests and friends among friends. Here is my piano and my guitar, my books, my music; here’s the best recipe my mom gave me, and some biscotti and my grandpa’s Vinsanto wine.

Great customer service

We happened upon this restaurant when walking around. Such a cute atmosphere. We were given a table (we didn't have reservations) and offered each a glass of prosecco for the wait since the kitchen was busy and would take a while. When the waitress came around to take our order (within a couple of... read more

We went out n Sunday evening for dinner. Nice cozy place, but we weren't able to eat as the kitchen couldn't provide food for all the guests. Although the Bistro was not full. A shame to see that, I read this about other restaurants in Pisa , but i guess is just the way they do it. Stress free and... More

Il Bistrot is a lovely place with friendly athmosphere on a little square with several small restaurants, bistros 50 m from main street Corso Italia. We met there only locals, friendly, 'noisy' Italians who like good food, nice wines and great company. We tried several different kind of dishes (mixed cold appetizers as prosciutto and other meats, cheese, typical toscan... More

On a rainy Sunday night we stumbled on this place by chance. Full of locals we order some drinks and then stayed to have something to eat. Menu was brief but good quality. Most of the patrons were having bottles of wine and nibling on free appetizers from the counter. Kudos to the waitress that, aside of being gorgeous and... More

We have visited this restaurant during a weekend in October. We have enjoyed possibility to eat outside, as the tables has been also available outside at the square. The food and wine were excellent, the ambiance of this place was unique and the service was extra efficient and super nice. We definitely recommend this place!

Great informal atmosphere and brilliant food! Not a budget option but then we did have some quite pricey (and v good) wine (and then some more). We did the whole 38 course Italian thing, probably didn't need the starter AND the pasta course bu they were all lovely. My calamari was particularly good as a main course but all the... More
