We loved everything about the restaurant - food, menu choice, vine, hospitality & attention. Mario is a great host that can welcome & make feel at home anyone who comes. A "must eat" place @ Pisa!

We sought this place out after reading the reviews on Trip advisor an we weren't disappointed. We felt really looked after out whole meal. They have a very cheap set menu an a reasonable normal menu. The food was stunning, if your looking for an authentic Italian night then head to this place which is 5 mins away from the... More

After shopping in Pisa on the Via Borgo Stretto, I stumbled upon this very cute, authentic family restaurant. The waiter was an elderly man, who showed utmost care and attention for all his guests, especially the kids. Even though there was a language barrier, we found a way to communicate. I chose risotto with sepia - totally delicious, but be... More

I'd read about this place so we sought it out and were not disappointed. Our waiter spoke very little English and we speak little Italian but with lots of good humour we got through and had a very entertaining evening and a very good meal. A simple test for a good restaurant is to ask, "Would you return and would... More

We have been at this place with our family just few days back and were really hungry after a full day travel. This restaurant have been recommended by our hosts at the b&b. The service was really fast, food was good. We have had seafood risotto, fried shrimps and squids, risotto nero, spagetti pomodoro and tagliatelle with shrimp. All was... More

This time, it was our turn to "loose". We went there because of the positive critics on TA, but why have so many written so very well about this restaurant? We had ham and melone as a starter which was good, but nothing more. Then we continued with a tuna fish carpacchio. Together with a bottle of red wine in total... More

We really enjoyed our meal here. It's only a short walk fr the leaning tower and the place is clean and spacious. Get the seafood soup it's delicious! The owners are adorable and very sweet. They even gave us free espresso and olive oil. If Andrea Bocelli can eat here it'd definitely good enough for me.

The restaurant is run by a family from Taranto, so there is Apulian influence in the kitchen. The fish we had was good, in particular the tuna steak ("tagliata di tonno") that I had. They try to have interesting wines. The menu isn't large, but has a reasonable choice. The prices are more or less aligned with current prices, but... More
